I ordered the Steak Frites and it looked incredible.
There were several issues. The steak was very tough, which feels like an achievement given how thin the slices are. No issue with the thin slices, just bewildered how it was so tough.
In addition to the toughness, the sliced steak was devoid of any seasoning and the sandwich was a little more than room temperature.
Outside of the service, which was exemplary, Duke’s Bar & Grille gets a very solid meh.
If you’re coming for dinner, I would make a reservation or expect to wait. The inside is nice. It can be loud at times.
Service can be hit or miss from my experiences here. However, the food is typically spot on! Portions are generous here. Great tasting dishes and drinks. Have had many of the pizzas as well as their sandwiches and would recommend many of those options.
A good option for a group get together or date night! Very good vibes, TVs with the game on, and fun music. Definitely give Dukes a try!
We ordered a $9 white pizza, $7 wings, and $6 chicken tenders and fries, and left no crumbs. My husband also had two draft beers and dessert. The waitresses were excellent and attentive, and all the staff worked well together and kept the restaurant in nice shape!
It was a fun environment, very family friendly or date night friendly!
Highly recommend!

This place is always packed and full of glowing reviews. Apparently, people will accept just about anything — on a plate or from their favorite political party — as long as it’s familiar and loudly promoted. Standards, it seems, are optional. The menu is enormous, and in my experience, when a place offers everything, it usually does nothing particularly well. And that’s proven here.
I would have said something to our wonderful waiter, but the poor guy was completely run ragged. He checked on us several times and did everything he could. But I didn’t have the heart to tell him the potatoes tasted like they came straight from a box, the au jus was saltier than the Dead Sea, and the “Tuscan prime rib” was really just a Philly cheesesteak on white toast pretending to be something it wasn’t.
My wife’s fajitas were 90% peppers and onions, with just enough meat to technically qualify. The tortillas seemed like they came straight off the package — not heated, not softened, just stiff and uninspired.
I understand standards slipped after COVID, but I genuinely can’t remember the last time I had a worse meal from a highly rated establishment. Toward the back of the menu, I noticed the owners proudly featured their photos. With food like this, I’d be hesitant to show my face at all.
Nothing to complain about, quite frankly.
