I’ve passed this place over the years always wondering what it would be like to try this place and I’m definitely impressed! This place focuses on what matters the most and it’s the food. This place doesn’t need any fancy decor or anything because that doesn’t add any real value. The food is a great price and I’m definitely coming here again soon. I got a double fish sandwich and Chicago Dog and it hit the spot. I can’t wait to try their gyros and Polish Sausage next but they’ve got a lot of good menu items to try.

Dukes has long been a place known for their beefs. Honestly the sleeper of this place is their two hot dog special. Honestly one of the best classic Chicago dogs I’ve ever had. Top notch ingredients dog has perfect snap and poppy seed bun holds everything together. Don’t see how this could be topped. Their fries are great as well don’t even need ketchup. This place should be renamed “Duke Dogs”. You’re not going to get better than this.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. I love the food. The owners are the same, and you maybe served by the owners. Note There is no public bathroom. But I believe there is a few booths if you want to sit there. My favorite thing on earth is their Philly cheese steak!

Still not sure how I feel about this place.
Some of the prices seems very reasonable..
But at the same time..
$6.99 for 5 mozzarella sticks that were like all smashed together ..with a 1/3 cup of Mariana sauce (lol probably just didn’t fill it all the way i get it… it happens..) but still..
Not gonna lie the food was pretty tasty. The cheese fries i ordered were decent would have preferred them less mushy but there was a nice flavor. The breaded mushrooms were also ok.
My partner seems to like them.
Overall I would give it another try cuz the food tasted pretty good just didn’t expect it to cost as much as it did.
Wish the burger came with fries lol.
Also the lady at the counter was like nice…
But seemed annoyed I was there.
It was odd…
Maybe I just took It the wrong way.
But regardless I work in customer service.. so just being honest I didn’t feel that welcomed there lol..

Is establishment personifies a typical working class eatery in Chicago. Everything on the menu is Affordable and the quantities will fill you up. All the typical Chicago favorites beef and burgers. The place is no nonsense and perfect for a quick bite to eat and orders to go if you’re in the area of working nearby. It’s also very female-friendly establishment. The staff was very efficient and polite now I got hungry thinking about this place in writing the review
