Great deal at this popular Chinese restaurant in Kaimuki: lunch plate includes rice, Crispy Gau Gee, Pot Roast Pork, Sweet and Sour Spare Ribs, and Broccoli Beef – all for $7.25. Two people could easily share this dish but you could round it out with another like say, Honey Walnut Shrimp, like we did.

Duk Kee is a small corner restaurant in Kaimuki. The food is good and portions reasonable for the price. The also have half or whole roast duck with buns (not always an option at other places). The orange chicken is also very good. The parking lot next to it has a 20-minute grace period if you’re just picking up an order and can’t find a space on the street.
