I have been here maybe 6-8 times and it’s been pretty good until the last time… Came in for drinks, maybe an appetizer or 2 and some pull tabs. The drinks were good and service was fast. The biggest issue was that we ordered cheesecurds and they are stated they are supposed to be like the state fair. And they usually are. This time around when receiving the curds they were over cooked and blown out. So we asked the bartender to send them back and she seemed annoyed but obliged. Then we get the next batch and they are in clumps, overly greasy and the cheese tasted different then usual and kinda gross. We didn’t want to ask to send them back again so instead we just payed our check and left. I don’t know if it was an off day, a different cook or they changed the product but no good!!

Very roomy place. Has always been a hot spot in Hastings growing up. The food is great, its been great since my cousin Doug started there he no longer works there but the food is still fantastic.

There at 6pm ordered at 630pm got food at at 745pm. Had to leave so asked to boxing my order and dessert to go. Didn’t get dessert so asked at 8pm again. I guess someone set a brown paper bag next to the person I was sitting by which was my dessert, never told this? Then when got receipt was only the amount listed, told waitress I wasn’t comfortable with just the balance since we were eating as a group of 14 people? So she ran an itemized receipt. Once home and reheated and ate my meal the next day I felt the food was very good! Too bad the waiting staff didn’t explain there would be such a delay in getting our food and mix up on the dessert and not an itemized receipt? Really wanted to eat and celebrate with my Godchild/ nephew for his birthday before he returned to Florida the next day…

Popular hangout bar/restaurant. Food is okay, service is very good, and atmosphere is a bar with bar stuff on the walls. Nothing really stood out for food or drink, but there’s a nice selection. Would go back.

After coming from Treasure Island ️ this place still had kitchen open tell 11. The food portion was big. The prices are reasonable and drink prices are good too. Nachos I would get again but they are a tad little spicy.

The taco salad is fine. Boneless wings were fantastic!! Very poor service at the bar. 2 people working behind the bar but it seemed new to them that someone eats at the bar. Once we finally got our meal no one even asked how it was.

If I could give zero stars, I would.
We had our wedding on a Saturday night and were looking for a fun bar to go to afterward to keep the celebration going. I called ahead weeks in advance to give the manager a heads-up that we might be bringing a large group. We had just left our venue where staff told us how enjoyable and respectful our group was.
When we arrived at this bar, the vibe changed immediately. Staff audibly groaned and we overheard a waitress say, “Oh no, that group is here.” From the start, they were rude and standoffish—especially toward the bride’s brother—and created a completely hostile environment even though we were polite and just trying to enjoy the night.
The situation escalated unnecessarily when one of our guests briefly misplaced their wallet. Instead of showing any patience, the bartender called the police. The wallet was found minutes later, and thankfully the officers were incredibly understanding and even apologized to us for how the bar handled it.
To top it off, as we were leaving, the bartender gave our group both middle fingers—a final, unprofessional gesture to cap off a terrible experience.
None of our guests will ever return to this establishment. I sincerely hope the owners see this and reevaluate who they have representing their business. What should have been a small, easily managed situation turned into a disaster due to arrogant, hostile staff. Do better.
