We had a great time at Duffy’s. It was a last-minute decision and the burger was delicious. They have delicious hamburgers just out and their onion rings. Yum… my. We sat in the bar area. It was on an eight football game and I’ll tell you they had it no less than 20 TVs in the bar. Any game that was on you could watch it. The service was surprisingly good because our server was working outside and inside, but he had back up! The beer was delicious. I got the Goose Island and he got Yingling. I totally recommend this for any sports fans and or people who just like to go out for a great burger and beer and oh the onion rings.

No complaints about the food—it was solid. My beef (ironically) is with the drinks. In all my years of ordering martinis, I can’t recall ever getting one without olives… unless I specifically asked for none—which I never have.
Our group of four ordered martinis. One person clearly asked for olives. Only that drink came with olives. We were puzzled, politely asked for olives for the rest, and waited a solid stretch of time for them to arrive—perhaps the olives were still being harvested?
Round two of martinis comes and, having already expressed our olive-related needs, we assumed they’d nail it this time. Nope. Not an olive in sight. When we asked again, we were told they were out of olives but were “looking for some,” which paints an amusing mental image of staff on an olive scavenger hunt.
Eventually, a person we assumed was the manager appeared heroically holding a giant container of olives and joked that we’d better “make a dent in it.” Mission accepted—but olives didn’t immediately follow. A short while later, they finally showed up, and we played bartender, adding our own garnishes.
Bottom line: great food, but the martini game needs work. Especially when it takes a quest and a comedy routine just to get an olive.

Best part of this meal was our waiter Simon. He was everything a waiter should be: quick, friendly and makes recommendations (hard to get these days). He made our dinner great! Please share this commendation with him. He deserves to know people notice what good service he provides.

My wife and I had lunch at the bar at Duffy’s in Boynton Beach yesterday. It was my first visit. Wifey had been there a couple of years ago.
The bar was packed. The rest of the restaurant was not. They run a 2 for 1 drink special during the week, so that likely explains the crowd at the bar.
The food was good. I enjoyed my meal. My wife’s was not smiling with hers as. She prefers actual flavors, and her dish delivered nothing with that.
The issue was the atmosphere at the bar.
An off-duty employee, based on what I overheard, sat at the bar and loudly shared a very personal story. It included profanity and private details about someone else. The bartender was deeply engaged in the conversation while also trying to work.
Most people at the bar looked uncomfortable. The couple next to us was visibly irritated. It was hard to ignore.
Management should not allow off-duty employees to create a disturbance for paying guests. When customers come in to relax and enjoy a meal, they should not have to listen to staff drama played out at full volume.
The food was solid. The service behind the bar felt distracted. My first visit might be my last unless this kind of behavior is addressed.

It was freezing inside so we asked for a patio table instead.
The place was packed with senior citizens! I was surprised by how many people over 70 were there. There were walkers and canes everywhere!
The food was ok. The fish dip was supposed to be mahi-mahi but tasted like tuna to me so I wouldn’t order it again. The ribs and wings were ok.
My pineapple lemonade tasted good though. And I love their 2 for 1 drinks special every day!
Our server Edgar was great! He looks very young but he took care of all our requests and checked on us frequently.

Went there for a pickup and normally restaurants like this when you walk in it takes a while for someone to greet or talk to you, as soon as I walk through the door one of the staff greeted me immediately and asked if I was dining in or had pickup, and promptly took care of my order. The food was absolutely amazing. The wings were nice and crispy and were perfectly cooked. Their sauces are amazing as well.

The blender was not working for us to get the drinks that we wanted. The 2 for 1 margaritas were good though. We got 2 burgers and asked them to cut them in half so we could share with each other. They brought separate plates. 4 full sized plates, half full for 2 people. There were several awkward vibes. The burgers were not worth it. I would not go there for burgers again.

Visited with my son’s family (2 grandkids). We had a great time. Kids behaved and we enjoyed great food, service and sports. We ordered fish dip, chicken fingers, spinach dip and chicken club. All food was served hot and very tasty!
