Duffy’s Diner came highly recommended from our hotel front desk staff. The diner has a Coca-Cola theme and is a small mom and pop establishment. The atmosphere was somewhat cold in the restaurant but tolerable. The interior could use some extra cleaning. Our waitress was polite and she waited on us frequently. The food was good but found out later that we were charged for an item that was supposed to come with the meal.

I’m usually very gracious with my reviews. We picked this place, as we enjoy the 50’s diner atmosphere occasionally. The place was not very clean, nor welcoming. The fried pork chops were gigantic; however they were about 50% pure fat. It seemed the fryer grease was old. The onion rings had about the same over used grease taste as the coating on the chops. The potato salad was unlike any I’ve ever had (like mashed potato texture). I would visit again to give it another chance, maybe it was just a bad day. The poor upkeep of the interior, apathetic service, and disappointing food all suggest it might not be any different next time. Huge potential, but left not impressed.

Food was pretty good, service was a little slow, but to be fair they were pretty busy. I had a cheeseburger and onion rings. It was pretty good. But the meat was definitely not hand pressed. It was a typical burger. Onion rings were good. My wife had a chicken sandwich and she enjoyed it very much.
They needed to have more people waiting tables. We waited a long time to be waited on, and were never offered refills on our drinks. We had to wait an extended amount of time for our check. I do not want to be too critical, the waitress was working as hard as she could.
All in all, it was pretty good and I recommend you giving it a try. When I am back in the area I will try it again.

I had a hamburger and added grilled onions and pickles. Patty tasted homemade not frozen. Excellent! Husband had the chicken fried steak with white gravy, mashes potatoes with brown gravy, fried corn on the cob and roll. He said it was all good and the steak was tender.
Hours note: we arrived about 8 pm and they said they were closing at 8:30 & they had stopped taking friend chicken orders. I get it; no problem.

I ordered a pork chop dinner. The fry just popped off the pork chop. The fry looked old and the pork chop was fatty to say the least. And under cooked. I am not a complainer. Rarely do call. live 15 min away. I called they said sure you you like sometging else. A cheeseburger is fine. My meal was 18.88. She charged me for the cheeseburger and gave me the change. I was like wow! Very very unprofessional. If i would own a restaurant that is definitely not the way to treat a customer

The place was recommended by a friend. I read the mixed reviews and decided to give the place a try. Chloe was my server. I ordered the shrimp po’boy and fried chicken with a side of red beans and rice. The po’ boy was fantastic: lightly battered shrimp in a delicious and very crusty baguette with mayonnaise, tomato, lettuce and pickles. Simple and tasty! The fried chicken was also very good but the po’ boy was the star of the meal tonight. Service lagged at first but Chloe gave some very helpful suggestions and was attentive enough to make sure I never had to request for a refill of my soda. Great local place and lots of options to choose from.

Just ordered through door dash. Food was decent. Unfortunately they forgot ketchup for tater tots and straws for drinks. Would highly recommend double checking orders before they leave. Being in a Hotel we had no access to straws or ketchup.

Every time we order to go y’all can’t get the order right. I can name about 20 of my friends that will not eat there again because y’all never get the orders right.this is my last time ording from y’all.
If this gets read by the owners I hope you take steps to correct this problem because the food is great. Besides my 20 friends I bet there are 100’s of other people that stopped ording from you because we can’t get what we order. This may be ok with y’all .
