I so happened to be in Rome today and passed by this Deli. Did a quick Google to check the reviews and decided to try it out. I ordered the classic club sandwich which was delicious and the chicken salad in a soup bowl. The chicken salad flavor was great but the chicken itself was not tender as you would expect it to be. I’m not sure if they cook their chicken in house or use chicken breast but it should’ve been cooked longer. So disappointed because the chicken salad had a good flavor and I don’t want to throw it out .

I visited Rome often over a 2 year span and Duffy’s Deli was a must every time. All of the staff is super friendly and the food is not only great, it’s consistent. I tried several different items over the 2 years and they were all delicious. The owner Casey is super friendly and makes you feel at home. If I visit Rome again, I will definitely be going to Duffy’s.

Some folks like to keep the best things in life a secret. But I’m a firm believer in sharing is caring. Dropped in here for the first time today. They back their cakes in house and they’re reasonably priced. I couldn’t make up my mind between the caramel cake and the chocolate with peanut butter frosting, so I got both to go. I made the right decision! Yum!!!

Been eating at Duffys for years. Food is still very good, however last few times Ive been there the service is not good at all. The “girls” working behind the counter are more interested in goofing off, acting silly, and talking, more than they are about your order. Twice Ive had to go back up to the counter and ask where my sandwich was. Both times it was just left sitting already made behind the counter while the employees goofed off. Two other times the food I ordered was not made correctly. Maybe if the employees would quit playing around and start working it would be better. Manager needs to do something about this situation.

I came in with a large order, last minute, during lunch hour today. Not for a SINGLE moment did I feel like I was an inconvenience. Each staff member I encountered at Duffy’s was generous, very kind and patient! I was more than impressed by the grace with which I was received, especially when I had forgotten to call my order in early. Thank y’all so much!
