5 ⭐ should be the rating. I grew up with Cox’s Restaurant in Morehead City. This place gives me the same vibe. Great home cooked meals at a reasonable price. Everything was delicious and will be a regular stop now that we’ve moved to Duplin County. Sooo good!!

I got the Tuesday special, which was salbury Steak with gravy and onions. Side of cabbage, potato salad, and hushpuppies. Let me tell you the value is there. Great prices, home cooked grandma’s style food. The sweet tea was so good, and the staff gives you a piture to refill from. The issues I had were the booths. They were old and not much space between the table and booth to sit if you’re a larger person. Also smelled like old people and cat pee. Wasn’t a pleasant smell at all. Was all throwaway plates, cups, and silverware.
