Fresh fine food is served among shelves filled with a variety of culinary treats, including packaged foods, wine, ale, lagers, oils, vinegars, hot sauces, imported Irish confections, dairy products and much more. Stop in for a delicious meal while picking up a gallon of milk or a pound of butter, a package of gourmet pasta, or even a cutting board and a cookbook. All of our dishes are cooked fresh, to order. We do not have any fryers or microwaves in the building, just delicious meals by Chef Billy just for you. I had such a great experience at Dueling Spoons. The vibe in there is absolutely amazing — it’s welcoming, relaxed, and just an all-around good atmosphere to enjoy a meal. The food is just as impressive. You can really tell that Chef Billy takes a lot of pride in his work. Everything tastes thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor.
What really makes the place stand out though is Chef Billy himself. He’s such a genuinely nice and friendly person, and I love that he always comes out to check on everyone and make sure they’re enjoying their experience. That personal touch goes a long way. Highly recommend checking this place out!

My husband and I went here for the first time today to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We came for lunch which has a small menu, which had some amazing options. I got the bangers and mash figured Irish restaurant let’s try one of Chefs hometown meals. It was phenomenal. My husband got this roast beef sandwich, that I took a bite of and will be dreaming about tonight. It was amazing. The atmosphere is very home like and everyone there treats you like you are best friends. When they brought one the dessert they sang a happy anniversary song to us. They also gave us a card. You can tell they take pride in their food and the atmosphere there. This is a place I will be coming back too. I also LOVE how in the menu he says “my Kathleen.” Lots of family traditional meals and just a ton of comforts of home. It has a lovely vibe.

I want to say thank you to Chef Billy and the staff at Dueling Spoons for undoubtedly the best meal I have had in my life! First the crab cakes were delicious, the caprice salad was the perfect compliment to them and the clams were amazing. You have to try the Irish wheat bread. Next my husband had the surf and turf with a New York steak. Now I have never liked lobster but Chef Billy converted me. The tastes I had were excellent and my husband loved every bite. My filet and shrimp meal melted in my mouth. You don’t need anything else because they season everything so well. If you have room you must try the Sour Apple Walnut pie. We are sure to go back when we can. The atmosphere is friendly and warm. Like everyone was a big family coming together and Chef Billy takes the time to greet and entertain everyone. Thank you again for the most amazing evening.

Came here today for my dear friend birthday and from beginning to end was a truly amazing experience! They had a large selection of drinks and Food was cooked from scratch to perfection! From the moment we arrived, our experience matched exactly what they promised: a busy, family-run restaurant with genuine charm and incredible food. The flavors were outstanding — each bite was perfection, cooked exactly how we wanted. I was particular about how I like my meat prepared, and Chef Billy himself came out to make sure it was done right. He went above and beyond, and it was absolutely perfect.
Our server (the chef’s son) was attentive, friendly, and checked on us several times throughout dinner. We enjoyed our bottle of wine, the cozy ambiance, and the fun of hearing guests ring the bell as they selected their steaks (including me!). The birthday surprise for my husband — complete with a hand-signed card, dessert, and a cheerful song — made the night even more special.
Before leaving, we had the pleasure of chatting with Chef Billy again, sharing stories, taking pictures, and learning more about his journey and travels. It truly felt like an evening with friends, not just dinner out.

First time here and it surpassed my expectations! Everything we got was better than the last. From the starting bread and butter to our mains. I could drink the blue cheese sauce. The filet minion was perfectly cooked. The short rib was fall off the bone and could feed 2. But you won’t want to share.

We have been wanting to go here for awhile, and so glad we finally did! The food was beyond amazing, it is definitely cooked with love and true passion! Chef Billy brought our meals out to us and he was delightful and quite funny! His daughter was our server, she was adorable and also quick witted! With over 40 years in the restaurant business, including as a chef myself (now retired), I was truly impressed with the quality and creativity of the food, the unique atmosphere, and the culinary passion of the owner and Chef, Billy Reid.
He’s not only responsible for an amazing selection of culinary masterpieces but also makes everyone feel welcome—as if they’ve known him for years. It was not just dinner but an experience.
If you haven’t had the opportunity to dine at Dueling Spoons, don’t wait any longer—go now! Of course, if you’ve had the pleasure, I know you’ll go back!

I can only say that this amazing little restaurant is absolute Gem!! I came in to get my sandwich I ordered and it was my first time ever visiting the cute little place. I was instantly greeted by the best aromas of food cooking before I could even walk in. Upon waking in I was so impressed by the sweet, intimate and inviting atmosphere!!! Chef Billy is an absolute legend!! He has a joyful and playful spirit and makes you feel like family instantly!! Not to mention an amazing sense of humor!! I absolutely can wait to become one of Dueling Spoons Royalty as I will be returning as often as possible !! Please,Please come visit this beautiful place ❤️I promise you will NOT be disappointed!!
