I’ve already been here twice in the past two weeks—that’s how much I’m enjoying Due Cucine in Redmond.
The focaccia with mortadella is fantastic: soft, fresh, and exactly what you hope for when you’re craving authentic Italian flavors. The pasta is equally satisfying, clearly made with care and simple, quality ingredients.
As an Italian, I also really appreciate the atmosphere. Hearing Italian music in the background makes the experience feel even more genuine and welcoming—it’s a small detail that truly makes a difference.

This was my first time at Due’ Cucina Italian Restaurant, and it was a great experience. The staff was very friendly and took the time to explain the menu to us. We ordered the fusillone with smoked salmon, eggplant parmigiana, and the burrata salad, and everything was delicious. The house wine was very good, and the atmosphere was pleasant. A great place to enjoy Italian food, especially on a Saturday afternoon.

I love spaghetti and eat it often,but the spaghetti here was extremely hard and unpleasant to eat, far beyond a normal al dente texture. It was not comparable to authentic Italian spaghetti at all.

Finally, an authentic cacio e pepe that I don’t have to fly to Italy to enjoy. The wine was good and not overpriced, the pasta was fresh and perfectly al dente, and overall it was a great experience. Highly recommend.

We ate at Due Minuti years back and it was great. When we were looking for places to bring our friends who are traveling here to visit us, we found Due Cucina! We decided to take them to try this authentic Italian fresh food. Ordered several typical dishes, and desserts, everything was delish 😉 Dave and the team at Redmond location are awesome! We were taken great care of – our guests are super happy with the food and the dining experience! Grazie mille, Dave and everyone, you guys made my day

This is the worst carbonara I have ever tried. Instead of guanciale, there was something unrecognizable, overcooked to the point of being chips. The sauce was absolutely tasteless and disgusting. Complete disappointment! Do you even know what real carbonara looks like? Your dish has nothing in common with it. And yet you call yourselves Italian cuisine

If you’re not familiar with Due Cucina, it’s a great place for fast-casual pasta with authentic and high quality pasta dishes that are cooked well (i.e al dente). Great food, and worth a trip if you love good Italian but don’t have time for a full sit-down (and, arguably Due is better than many of the sit-downs).
It’s a newer location so they still run into some issues, but the management is extremely caring and will do right by folks if something is ever not quite right.

Casual quick serving restaurant. They have just opened three weeks ago. I have been to their first restaurant in Capitol Hill Seattle and was quite impressed with the pasta. Very good authentic house made pasta. Very much like what you get in Italy. Simple ingredient with good pasta. Very good value for the price you pay. Clean comfortable environment and good value wine as well. Cheerful friendly staff. A great place some a simple meal.recommended.
