Too many good things to say. The food, the owner, the atmosphere is off the charts. Usually I’m not a big fan of employees or owners that walk around visiting with patrons but Duc has such a charm and love for people that he’s irresistible. And the food, also irresistible! So flavorful and a perfect amount. Back to Duc, he and his wife run the place and treat you like they are in their home. Incredible experience…thanks Duc!

I ordered the Mongolian Beef, Szechuan Chicken, and Fried Rice. The flavor of the food was very good. However, I was displeased with the lack of protein in the meat dishes. It was mainly green peppers and other vegetables. The atmosphere is somewhat dreary, but still acceptable. Was hoping for a little more from this place.

Duc’s is one of those rare places that gets everything right, the food, the atmosphere, and the people.
From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by Duc himself, who is genuinely charming, kind, and effortlessly funny. He takes the time to interact with his patrons and makes everyone feel welcome, like you’re being invited into his home. It’s clear how much he truly cares. Duc and his wife run the restaurant together, and that warmth and pride show in every detail.
I’ve been here several times now, and the experience is consistently wonderful. This visit, I ordered the pho based on a recommendation and it was hands down the best pho I’ve ever had. Rich, flavorful broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and fresh ingredients that come together beautifully.
Duc’s isn’t just a great restaurant; it’s the kind of place you keep coming back to because it makes you feel good being there. If you’re even considering it, go. You won’t be disappointed.

We absolutely love this Vietnamese restaurant. The food is always so fresh and tasty. The best Vietnamese place in all of Minnesota in my opinion. My favorites are the coconut curry with veggies and cream cheese wontons. The owners are also very sweet.

My son and I ordered take out tonight. Duc’s was a favorite, I can’t say that anymore!
The past few orders have been unbeatable.
Are egg rolls for the second time are not cooked they’re full of grease. They’re not crispy. They’re pale. The sweetened sour pork that we got was not good, I bit into a piece and it was all gristle, and I couldn’t even chew it.
I don’t mind paying good money for good food, And I hate being that person that always is complaining. I think we’ll have to find a new Vietnamese restaurant to go to. Out $40!

We always order takeout from Duc’s, but it’s just not the same anymore. My favorite has always been the tofu kung pao, but from past two times it was very disappointing — this time, there was no sauce, it was dry, and it even had a strange smell and taste.

Quite literally the best Chinese/Vietnamese food my daughter and I have ever enjoyed. We were in town from out of state for a shopping trip and we were craving Chinese food. A quick google search showed us the closest was Duc’s. My daughter ordered pot stickers and lo mein, while I had an egg roll and beef and broccoli. Everything was wonderful. I ate 3 of her pot stickers (which isn’t my usual pick, but they were so good!) The staff were incredibly friendly and quick! I told the owner that we’re probably lucky that we don’t live closer or we’d be there every other night for dinner! We had leftovers to take home and my older daughter tried some of the lo mein (under the watchful eye of the youngest who told her sister she could only have ONE bite, lol). She immediately said it was amazing and tried to tell me we have to make another trip to MN so she can get her own! We will be looking forward to the next time we have to make our way to MN, just so we can stop and enjoy Duc’s again! (To the staff: thank you for everything. Our lunch break was my daughter’s favorite part of our trip!)

This place rocks! The food is spectacular, the owners and service are awesome! Try their curry dishes, kung pao they are all fabulous and their egg rolls, spring rolls and cream cheese puffs are our favorites! The food is so flavorful and service is so consistent it will keep you coming back for more! Try their lunch specials too! We live in Florida and go back to Duc’s every time we are in town to visit family. The family oriented owners are great (and will have you laughing) and expect the same from their staff and make you feel like a welcomed guest every time. Experience it yourself first hand (bring the kids), you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing owner and staff! As soon as we walked in the door, we got a nice greeting from everyone. The owner came over to our table to take our order and was extremely friendly. Talked with us about different menu items and gave some good suggestions. I went with the sweet and sour chicken. My party went with a vegetarian roll, fried shrimp, and egg foo young. We also shared a side of the cream cheese puffs. They were amazing! I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. Definitely coming back again!

Very impressed. I was expecting it to be above average Vietnamese/Chinese food, as my Woodbury friends had always spoken highly of Duc’s. I got the Kung Pao Chicken – spicy. Food came quickly. Presentation was good, and the portion was generous.

The vegetables were excellent. Flavorful, juicy, and fresh. The dish was delicious-not over sauced/spiced/salted, all elements of the dish were able to shine.

I will definitely come back to try the pho!
