I stopped in for lunch during the wk and wasn’t overly crowded which was great. I was seated immediately by a friendly host. My waitress came over with a bright smile and took my drink order. I perused the menu and decided on one of the Philly sandwiches, the Smokehouse. It was absolutely delish. And got the sweet potato fries with butter, sugar and cinnamon and they were a hit as well. I will definitely be back. Only reason I knocked off one star was because the grade was a lil lower than I would have liked, but all the same place was clean and I didn’t see anything that would have made me want to turn around.

My friends and I found this place by chance the other night after flying into town for the weekend and I’m glad we did! There was a slight wait for our food but that’s to be expected on busy Friday night. We passed the time with drinks and appetizers. I enjoyed my lemon drop martini it was made perfectly and the grilled chicken nachos, were good but be sure to get a side of salsa! The mouth watering menu choices made it hard to really decide what to order, but I chose the ribs that were suggested. Our server Tessa and the GM James, they were right the ribs are very good, everyone in my party agreed that they were delicious. Massive nachos! This is a massive plate — not a normal sized plate piled high with nachos and loaded with cheese and other goods. Chicken is seasoned well, and definitely some of the better nachos I have had. I do wish the chips were homemade, and I do wish the cheese was freshly shredded.

This was the best food we ate while visiting Charlotte! Such a fun atmosphere- we ate on the patio – and the menu had so much to offer. I had the blackened salmon salad on the recommendation of our server and my husband had the salmon entree with house made mango chutney. My husband isn’t a foodie and is never overly vocal about his food. HE LOVED HIS MEAL! He said it had so much flavor and he was sad he was too full to finish the tater tots! I LOVE FOOD and my salad was divine! It was colorful and fresh and the salmon was cooked perfectly! The prices at Duckworth were so reasonable too! We paid double for dinner the night before and it wasn’t nearly as good. So glad we chose to go here!

I was really impressed with the service! Our server was very attentive. The drinks are really nice. Very sporty atmosphere. The Nashville tenders are amazing! The burger is pretty decent you’re looking for a decent bar food to fill up on. Would highly recommend if you’re going casual for a few drinks and great service.

Traveling from out of town and googled a good place to get drinks and appetizers and was led to this place. It was so good!! I had those chicken nachos and they were so good. And so much food!! The lady that waited on us was nice. And another guy from the restaurant check on us that was a manager and said he had just moved to Charlotte. I will be back! Great experience.

Everything was perfect! Our waitress was very attentive and helpful. She recommended that we try the cheese steak, and it didn’t miss! Being from PA its hard to get a sandwich that reminds you of Philly, but by far, this one was it! Definitely coming back to get a taste of home!

Wonderful experience! Stopped in for a drink on Saturday night and our server was so sweet. I believe her name was Tessa. Drinks were great and to top it off a very nice manager that said he just moved to the area came by and spoke. Will be back!

Went to Duckworth Grill and Taphouse in Charlotte, North Carolina after I hit the Loft at Duckworth. Been to Duckworth in uptown and this was very similar. It was a beautiful night out and we were lucky to sit outside. They had an extensive menu, like their other restaurant. I of course ordered the nachos which are my favorite in Charlotte. Theyare a huge order and filled with so much goodness, including cheese, guac, sour cream– the works! You could definitely share it with six or more people for sure. I also had the steak salad which was very good. Everyone loved their food. My friend ordered the wings and she said they were delicious. They have a large tap list and a good selection of cocktails and wine as well. We had a Sauvignon blanc bottle for $38 which was decent. The service was amazing too. I really liked the space, both indoors and out and would definitely go back!

I want to preface this review by saying that I was skeptical after reading the reviews for this location. The awesome thing I can say that I took away from reading those reviews and what I experienced is that they are listening and are working to make changes. This is from my observation from a customer service consulting standpoint in which I have years of experience.
My daughter had a meeting next door at Summit Coffee and I was hungry and wanted to also not interfere with her meeting. After searching the area for somewhere else I didn’t have to leave my parking spot for and realizing Mal Pan wasn’t open on Monday, I decided to still give Duckworth’s a try. I hoped for the best for lunch even after reading the reviews.
Entering in the host was amazing and seated me right away. My server Emily was at my table within a few minutes even though they were a little busy for lunch. Emily’s service was amazing and she was super kind, as well as attentive making sure I had everything I needed. Sometime during my eating a man who I believe was the manger came and asked me how everything was. I say I believe because he never actually introduced himself as the manger but he seemed as if he was.
Food was quick but not too quick and hot. I had the chicken Philly with sweet potato fries which were absolutely wonderful along with the house chips for an appetizer. Everything was awesome and based on the experience I would go back again. After having experienced other locations and being worried about this one, I can say that at least for the lunch I experienced, they are taking the opportunity to rectify some of the issues that I saw complaints about in the reviews.
