Love coming to Duc Phuong Thach Che for their amazing Vietnamese desserts—the chè is top-notch quality, fresh, flavorful, and just the right balance of sweet and refreshing. Everything tastes authentic and made with care.
The service is always very nice and friendly; the staff are welcoming and helpful, even when it’s busy. Bonus points: they accept credit cards for bills over $10 with no extra fee, which is super rare and convenient for Vietnamese spots these days (no more scrambling for cash!).
Highly recommend if you’re craving real chè or other Vietnamese sweets. Will definitely be back!

Đức Phương Thạch Chè is a famous Vietnamese dessert restaurant in Houston, Texas. I often come here to buy their Vietnamese sweet desserts and some foods to go such as Vietnamese ham, spring rolls, shrimp salad, Vietnamese sandwiches, fruit smoothies, iced tea with boba, etc. They are always friendly and nice to the customers. Their service is so professional beyond my expectations. They have all kinds of Vietnamese varieties of bean desserts. If you would like to have some Vietnamese Chè, then I would highly recommend that you come here.

Be careful when you get the prepackaged food. Look for bugs in your food. Usually their food is good, but they need to check on that kitchen hygiene.

I want to thank my Vietnamese friend for showing me this wonderful place. I absolutely love Vietnamese Che! it’s super delicious and I’m grateful that this place offers the choice to make your own. I could tell that this place is family oriented and sells many Asian coconut candies, desserts, rice cakes, etc. My friend and I bought about 10 cups of Che & plenty more sweets! Each cup was around $4 and I loved the flavors of jellies, fruits, and beans in the cups. They also offer Banh mi and packaged ready to eat food.

Che, coffee, banh tiêu are good here. Go early, they run out of the popular items if you go in the afternoon. Great snack foods.

This Che place was pretty, but we were able to order and pay out pretty quickly. They offer a variety of Che, drinks, banh mi, and other to go foods and desserts.
Their Che portion was on the smaller side, so I would recommend ordering a couple if you’re looking to be able to enjoy your dessert in more than one sitting!

We came here for some snacks and pastries. The store was super packed with multiple areas offering a specific snack or drink.
In the center is a large table full of bright and colorful pastries and munchies. You can hear the crowd chatting away and going about their grocery shopping.
Interesting store. Worth a revisit.

Great dessert take out. Lots of selections.
Note that they don’t have the lotus seed as a condiment anymore because of low demand unfortunately.

Great place for all Vietnamese deserts and pastries. I always stop here every time I visit Houston to fill up on Viet Che. I feel like they make the best coconut milk for their Che that why I keep coming back. They even sell Banh Mi that I have yet try so I can’t comment. Prices are fair and service are quick. They make the Che in front of you which I really like.
