Dubrovnik is one of those rare places where dining is an experience, not just eating out.

First, I was surprised to see that this place has dedicated parking for guests – rarest of the rare for someone from NYC! The host was super quick to offer a table and help us with their best seasonal offerings. Their seafood menu is one of the best in the region. Whether you like oysters or fish, you’re not gonna be disappointed. The drinks are prepped with attention to detail as well. I had Sangria, and it was so good I had a repeat. The place maintains high hygiene standards.

After dining in hundreds of restaurants in NYC, for the first time, I witnessed a restaurant replace the tablecloth after it’s been used.

What deserves a special mention? The food and hygiene standards just make this one of the best places to dine.

What could be better? Nothing for now – they’re doing a great job!

I visit Dubrovnik Restaurant about four or five times a year, and it never disappoints. The parking can be quite difficult, so I highly recommend using the valet service to start your evening comfortably.

This place offers a level of Croatian cuisine that is hard to find in the NY/NJ area. Their philosophy is clearly about respecting the ingredients. The wood-grilled Branzino is exceptional; the fire gives it a subtle sweetness and the texture is perfect. We also enjoyed the Lamb Chops and Aged Rib Eye Steak, both cooked beautifully.

The appetizers are always fresh and vibrant. The Marinated Anchovies and Nona’s Octopus Salad had great texture with no fishiness. I particularly love the Pear and Apple Salad—the crisp fruit provides a wonderful balance to the savory dishes. The Cuttlefish Risotto is served perfectly al dente, rich with flavor but not heavy.

The service is generally skilled and attentive. We did have a small mix-up where a server mistook soy sauce for black vinegar, but it was an understandable mistake that didn’t affect our enjoyment of the meal.

The wine list is a real highlight, especially the Croatian selections. We had the Stina Cuvée by the glass; it was excellent for the price, with enough acidity to pair perfectly with the seafood. It’s a dining experience I always look forward to returning to.

This was a delightful Croatian dining experience. Admittedly, while enjoyable, I wasn’t blown away. I liked the free valet parking, as parking can be difficult in this area. The atmosphere was very noisy, making it difficult to carry on a conversation. While I enjoyed the 2 piece live band, they too were quite loud. My meal itself was very good, but not spectacular. I started with the chicken soup. I enjoyed the large pieces of tender chicken in a savory broth, but didn’t find this to be much different from any non-Croatian chicken soup. For my main, I had the stuffed chicken breast with asparagus. The chicken was tasty, but surprisingly was a bit tough. Lastly, for dessert, we shared the palacinke with walnut cream. It was creamy and delicious, and was a nice way to wrap up the meal. Others in my party ordered the Branzino and had a much more positive dining experience. I suppose if you dine here, you might be better off with the seafood options.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a long time! Our friends recommended this place for us for my father-in-law’s surprise birthday party back in December. We booked it and the general manager, Matija, was so responsive and helpful in developing a menu and helping us decide which private room was best for us.

The food was unbelievable, even months later, our guests are still talking about the food. One of our family members from Chicago said he would come all the way back just for another meal at this restaurant.

The staff was very nice to us, and even when the guest of honor was late and we were super behind, they did not make us feel rushed to leave. We really appreciated their kindness in making us feel welcomed and taken care of. All of the staff was on point throughout the entire event. Wine glasses and water glasses were always full and food came out in a very timely manner.

They had a screen with speakers we could use for a photo slideshow. You should strongly consider this restaurant if you’re planning a birthday, bridal shower, baby shower, or any other life event.

Great food and service! The appetizers have really large portions, almost like a main course portion. All delicious!

I’m writing this while waiting for my flight to Dubrovnik. It was our anniversary and I thought it was kizmet to go to a restaurant named the place we were going. I hope the city of Dubrovnik is as good as this resteraunt. The food was perfect and our waiter Erbis (I hope I got this right) was outstanding.

We just got back from a vacation in Croatia and finally decided to try this Croatian restaurant in New Rochelle – we had always known about it but never visited since we weren’t familiar with Croatian cuisine. After falling in love with the food during our trip, we knew it was time. And we’re so glad we did! The lamb and fish were outstanding – almost like being back in Croatia. And the sourdough bread… OMG! Absolutely delicious!

The place overall has high-end dining traits and reasonable prices. Our jackets and coats were checked upon entering the restaurant. Although the cabinet was small, it was always nice to have them checked. The bread served as appetizer was amazing. The food overall was very good, everyone in my party enjoyed their Hudson Valley restaurant week menu choices. The desserts were amazing. The service was very good, utensils and plates were frequently changed for each course of the meal. However, I would suggest if there could be one service member to serve water or come by the tables more frequently. The atmosphere was great. We had 4 happy birthday occasions during our meal. The guitar duos were amazing. However, since they were loud, everyone has to talk loud, and it is hard to start nice conversations even at a smaller table. I would recommend reducing guitar playing hours so that customers like ourselves can enjoy some nice talk in between our wonderful dishes.

Had reservations for a Tuesday evening dinner, chose to eat outside on their back terrace. The food was pretty good. I wasn’t a fan of the spread that came with the complimentary bread, but my friend liked it. This was the second restaurant this week where a complimentary spread is brought to the table but no one tells you what it is…so my best guess is that this was a chickpea concoction?! The appetizer (my friend and I shared the grilled octopus) was the best part of my meal: the octopus was perfectly cooked, so tender and juicy! I even loved the salad it was served on top of, dressed with a simple oil and maybe vinegar dressing! I had the veal ragout with the homemade gnocchi, the gnocchi were perfectly little fluffy pillows and the veal was tasty. My friend had the seafood risotto special, I thought it was good but a bit too salty and the shrimp I tried was over cooked. We shared the Dubrovnik chocolate cake and I thought it was pretty good overall. Enjoyed having dinner here and I’m glad I tried out this place, it’s been on my list of places to try for a while now after a friend recommended it!

Perfect experience. To start of, it has convenient valet parking. Very pleasant outdoor sitting area, that even though was busy it was not too loud.
We were tended to by a lovely young waiter that was very knowlegeable of the menu and offered great suggestions. The food was well served in terms of portions and it was absolutely delicious. Price is a little high, but seems adequate for the quality of food and service provided.
