So glad we stopped here for lunch! It’s a very cute little place that’s much more spacious inside than I expected. They also have a nice outdoor seating area. The service was great. Super friendly and welcoming to us and our son. The waitress/bartender was patient and kind with him and someone else brought him a coloring book and crayons. He had a fun time. And the food was absolutely amazing. Way better than we expected. I highly recommend the Dagwood. Soooo good! We’ll definitely stop in sometime again!

I am so glad I stopped by and checked you guys out.I can’t wait to come back again sometime soon. The Mulligans Stew was fantastic. Hearty & homey with perfect flavor. The wings were awesome, I got the catlmans gold, I believe they were called & The Lake Erie Perch sandwich which was also spot on. The service was great, my server was very nice. Once again, so happy I stopped by and can’t wait for the next time. Thank you guys again!

Very warm and cozy atmosphere. The unlisted burger above is a Black and Tan. I have never been disappointed when I choose to eat here. During the right season the Hot Apple Spiked Spiced Cider warms you on a cold rainy day.

(Update!) There is a secret item that is not yet on the menu. Be sure to ask servers about the “Guiness Fish and Chips”!

Great family owned business with friendly service. My parents go for lunch every week and really enjoy it, and our family loves to get together there when we’re all in town. Ashtabula is lucky to have this gem!

The food was okay, the prices were fine and the service was good. There was a distinct smell when you walk through the door, so I would suggest eating outside.

We enjoy the outside experience at Dublin but last evening the music was too loud to talk so we moved to the front area. It’s nice to have that option. My chicken wrap I have a couple suggestions to make it better. Don’t use chicken that looks processed (from a bag) it’s just not appealing to eat. Better to bite into some good hot “grilled” chicken!! It was not! Also, my cheese wasn’t at all melted. My meal was disappointing, my husband’s wings were good. Sorry for this negative but if it’s not said you won’t know. We will come back.

From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor beautifully captures the essence of a traditional Irish pub, with rustic wooden furnishings and charming Celtic accents. The menu offered a delightful variety of authentic Irish dishes. I tried the Shepherd’s Pie, which was absolutely delicious and paired perfectly with a pint of their finest Irish stout. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Overall, Dublin Down is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to enjoy a taste of Ireland. I highly recommend it for both casual outings and special occasions.

Great little pub/restaurant in Ashtabula! My family and I were driving home to Buffalo after visiting Cincinnati and decided to stop in for dinner. Delicious food and friendly service — the owner and staff made us feel at home. The Lake Erie Perch sandwich was delicious! Enjoyed the live music, as well. Hope to go back next time we’re passing through!
