One of my friends recommended me this place when I came through Waco. It was delicious!! The food was hot and mouthwatering made right in front of you! As I was there I was thinking, “I wonder what the reviews say about this place?” Sure enough when I looked it up 4.7 stars, I should have known.

The burgers are top notch at this little hole in the wall. The patties are handmade and cooked to perfection and the buns are grilled just right with slightly crispy edges. The onion rings are delicious with a crispy panko breading and enough onion so that it doesn’t disappear when frying. The fries are thicker cut and average in flavor but the portions are large.

I heard about this place from a Tik-Tok video and since I knew I would be travelling from DFW to Austin, I made a note to stop by on the return trip. Sure glad I did! The burger was definitely in the Top 5 I’ve ever had in my life. I had the Triple/Triple with Bacon, Mayo, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion and Pickle. The burger was huge and super tasty. Service and Atmosphere were also great. If you look up “Hole in the Wall” in the encyclopedia, this is the place you would see a picture of (and I mean that in a great way!). Will definitely be back next time I’m in the area.

When I say that I’m looking for a local, hole in the wall place….this is what I mean. When I asked for water and the cashier told me that it was in a pitcher next to the fountain drinks, I knew I hit the jackpot. Burgers are very good here. Ordered Texas Toothpics for a side which is fried onions and jalapeño strips. Great spot and will be on my regular rotation now when I visit Waco.

They had one of the best burgers around. This little hole in the wall place is the place. There burgers are great. Onions rings were on point. Very friendly. However if you are looking for a place to sit and dine. They have very little room. Its a eat and go. No space to sit and tske tour time. I love it though. Id definitely go back again.

I found Dubl-R while searching Google Maps for new restaurants to try, and boy, I’m glad I found them. The burgers here are truly old-fashioned and reminded me of home. The burger patties were cooked perfectly, and my bacon was crisp just the way I like it. After the first bite, I knew I’d be back. The fries, however, weren’t anything special. I’d request my fries to be salted next time. The service was welcoming and fast. The atmosphere was dated, being that it’s an old building. The menu could be updated with a new lamented one also. If you’re in the area and looking for a great burger. Give Dubl-R a try. I was satisfied.
