This is the same restaurant as One Night in Bangkok which shows higher review rates. But it’s the same, the place truly reflects those reviews. The food was very good and the service was excellent. The restaurant has a warm and inviting vibe. We will definitely go there again.

Food was great. However, I think the steamed fish was slightly overcooked. Service was good too but felt a little bit rushed. They brought the main course while we were still eating our appetizers and their serving platters/plates were big so they took a lot of space. Would still visit again though!

I ate here for the first time today abs UT did not disappoint! The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Some of the best calamari that I’ve had since being back in the U.S. The cocktails were yummy too!
My eyes were larger than my stomach so I ate the lychee dumplings, a few calamari (the rest to go), and took the tropical fried rice to-go. I’ll definitely be back!

Duangrat’s Thai is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in NOVA. I have visited three times and was impressed every time.
The food was amazing. This time, my favorites were Larb with pork sausage and drunken noodles. The lychee dumplings were delicious.
The service and environment were wonderful.

Pretty legit Thai Restaurant in my opinion. The food is pretty spot on! Service is good but slow but the special made it all worth it. Check the menu for specials during the week, (example) Tuesday for every $40 worth of purchase, you get a bottle of wine (red, white, or rose) for $1. It wasn’t the best wine but it was nice to add it to our meal.

this restaurant has been here for ages. after going back for the first time in 10 years, i can confidently say i won’t come back for another 10 years.
the larb pla duk was good! the fish was crispy, sauce was good, and tasted very fresh. on the other hand, the khao soi was literally luke warm. the chicken was slightly under seasoned and the noodles did not soak up any sauce and felt like thin spaghetti. the beef pad kee mao was alright. i felt like it was missing wok hei flavor that i would normally get from other thai restaurants but it was the best dish out of the two entrees we got. the thai tea was good. good sugar, tea, and half&half ratio.
service and staff were great but food was just alright. the atmosphere was warm and there were lots of tables inside with outdoor seating option

Some of the dishes are not as tasty as it used to be. The only thing we tried that stayed authentic and true was the Thai ice tea, Tofu Triangles, and the Papaya salad. The dish that I craved and drove some miles to eat wasn’t the same anymore. The mango cod has no flavor, and they changed the way the mangoes were presented. The rice was not even Jasmine rice, why? What bothered me is that they didn’t offer spoons with your dish? Thai people use spoon and fork to eat their meals. I am so disappointed.

We had a large party for a gathering and they were very accommodating with seat arrangements, we were able to seat about 13 people quite comfortably. We started off with the Lychee Dumplings (it was sweet and salty, not really my jam, but the flavors were good), papaya salad, calamari, which were all very good starters and is an excellent way to start off the meal. Then we had Crispy duck basil, tropical fried rice, and the pad thai Supreme, which were all very delicious and a definite recommend, especially the pad Thai Supreme and the crispy duck!

What a gem! Everything we ordered was so delicious. My husband has been to Thailand before and he said this restaurant was one of the most authentic traditional Thai experiences he’s had in northern VA. Our waiter was super chill and attentive.
Hubby had the bahama cocktail which is Mai tai and pina colada mixed together – so delicious. My Thai iced tea was really good too, creamy and flavorful.
Appetizers: lychee dumplings (never had this before and absolutely loved it); Peking duck roll (delicious) and the sticky wings were amazing.. it comes with papaya salad and sticky rice, the chicken wings were big and fat, the sauce was so good.
We were actually pretty satisfied from the appetizers; didn’t know it would be substantial portions like that. But alas, this was my husbands birthday dinner so we went all out!
Our entrees were the Chiangmai pork (fried pork cutlets in a tasty sauce, very good); the supreme pad Thai (really authentic flavors, one of the best pad Thai we’ve had, the crispy whole soft shell crab was amazing) and the roast duck curry (spicy!!! But so so good.)
Btw — portions were HUGE!!
We would’ve ordered dessert too but we were stuffed at this point. We couldn’t even finish the entrees and took everything to go. We can’t wait to dig into our leftovers tomorrow.
We’ll definitely come back with family and friends! Thank you for a wonderful dinner!
