Duane’s Family Restaurant is a wonderful place for a hearty, home-style meal in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It’s the kind of spot where you instantly feel comfortable, whether you’re dining with family, friends, or on your own.
The food is consistently delicious—freshly prepared, full of flavor, and served in generous portions. From breakfast favorites to satisfying lunch and dinner options, everything tastes homemade and comforting.

This is a great family style restaurant. The menu is extensive and the food is good. The Buffet is exceptional. The service is fast and friendly. It is definitely worth your while to go here especially if you are shopping at Ebel’s General Store. Never go to Ebel’s if you are hungry.

Like probably 70% of Duane’s patrons, we were in town to shop the deals at Ebel’s and wanted to eat first so we wouldn’t be hungry when we went shopping.
I’m not sure it’s possible for any place to be more of Family Restaurant than Duane’s. Talk about homey. For lunch, the special was a meatloaf sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. And it was outstanding. Almost, though not quite, as good as my meatloaf. (Which I make in the smoker. Don’t judge. Try it.) The gravy was outstanding, but a huge factor in the sandwich was the bread. Wow. Great bread. And, because it’s such a family place, you can buy a loaf from the in-house bakery. Though we didn’t get any of the fantastic dang bread, we did get a dozen of their cookies. Wow. Just. Wow. Great cookies.
The bathrooms were easy to find, clean, well lit, well supplied and fully functional. They pass the test! (It’s surprising how many places don’t get it. Clean bathrooms are a huge plus.)
Our service, friendly and timely for the entirety of our visit, delivered our very reasonable tab on request and we checked out in short order.
Check my other reviews. I don’t give 5 stars very dang often. I was going to give Duane’s my standard max of 4 but then I realized, they bill themselves as exactly what they are: A Family Restaurant with great home-style cooking. They hit a home run, so they get 5 stars.

Went there for Thanksgiving dinner as we do every year and as always, the food was amazing and the staff is always on their toes to make sure you are satisfied with everything or if you need anything. We’ve been going for over about 10 years and have never had a bad experience!

This was my first time coming to Duane’s, and it won’t be the last. The food was absolutely amazing, service was flawless. They even have fresh baked cookies at the counter that were 10/10. If you’re ever in the Falmouth area, don’t hesitate to try Duane’s. I could barely fit this cheeseburger in my mouth, but once I started, it was gone in 5 mins.

Exactly what you hope for with a small town diner. Mainly open for breakfast and lunch (they are also open Friday night with a buffet), they have a great selection of stick-to-your-ribs food. Good portions and great flavors, with excellent baked goods available to go. Very friendly staff – highly recommended!

We Love this place. The girls are always courteous and professional. We love the buffet. The only reason I gave 4 stars on the food is the smelt is always too fishy tasting and the fish they say is cod tastes more like pollock to me and also tastes a bit too fishy.
