My husband and I visited recently on our weekly date and the prime rib was amazing. The place is quaint. We seemed to be the only one but the booths were cozy ans we didn’t mind. The place reminds me of a fancy restaurant in a historical town.. in positive ways. We were greeted by the chef I believe. He was so sweet and super kind. We ordered each a plate which came out to about $50 and it was absolutely divine. For those of you who love fresh bread and butter like me, you will not be disappointed with their freshly baked rolls. And the cream of broccoli.. don’t get me started! I wanted to return even before I left. Highly recommend. A natural historic establishment still standing to this day amongst the frilly and loud steakhouses around us. It’s the real deal.. highly recommend.

“I recently had the most delightful dining experience at the Drying Shed, and I can’t wait to share my thoughts! The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the Chicago cut of prime rib – tender, flavorful, and served in generous portions. The vegetables and potatoes were equally outstanding, adding a perfect touch to the dish.

We had my Birthday/Easter Lunch here, Absolutely Delicious food, including a mini-loaf of soft fresh baked bread, the salads were giant with delicious dressings. The Entree portions were so large we needed doggy bags ! The Desserts were rich and so good. The restaurant was clean & decorated very nicely. AL took care of us like we were Royalty, anticipating everything we might possibly need.

The most rude staff I’ve ever had to deal with in a non aggressive themed “restaurant,” and I’m using “restaurant” very lightly for this place. I gave this place 3 chances to not be the worst, but… turns out the food is just as dry as the service! Avoid this place!!

This was a nice little stop in for a nice steak dinner. We went on a Friday evening and didn’t see too many people there, and for me the ambiance was lacking a little bit. The food though was very good and we enjoyed our time! The portion sizes were quite large so you definitely get your money’s worth and the wine that we got was very tasty. It’s also worth mentioning that the bread they provide is baked onsite and its very delicious. Great steak in a casual, old-timey setting.

This Restaurant has the worst food that I have ever had. I had the Teriyaki Chicken, it was so dry that myself and 5 others that was sitting at the table with me, didn’t eat the Chicken. We traveled from another city and it was NOT worth the trip. The service was horrible as well. Not a friendly environment.

Tonight the band, a touch of brass was headlining, and so we went. The band was fantastic. The service was not great. We had a hard time getting our waitress to take our order. We did not have our food in front of us until two hours, after we arrived, my scallops were very good. My husband‘s chicken breasts were very tender and moist. The vegetables and salad work good. The filet mignon our friends had was good but not great. Others at the table said their steak was over done. At these prices, I would think you should get the Cooking correct. it seemed like the weight staff was very stressed and had a hard time. However, we really had fun dancing and the band was super.

Nothing to rave about. Inflexible on prime rib Tuesday. Customer does not come first. Prime rib is basic. Forgot to take pictures. Too hungry. One waitress. One bus person. Not very busy. Fries not crispy. Dinner rolls basic.
