Like this place a lot. The food is alright but the prices are good the customer base is friendly and the staff is really good also. I hate that after COVID they have really restricted the hours and now I can’t go on my lunch break. I hope Matt can turn it around and breath some life into DB&G. There’s not many cool little dives left like this. And Dryden definitely needs a spot you can get decent food for a reasonable price.

Went there 2 yrs ago.My Husband ordered Burger n Fries and I ordered the Friday Fish n Chips. We waited almost 1/2 hr for food. When we finaly got food, it was only the Burger. Waitress didn’t tell me they were out of fish until My Husband was 1/2 way through his meal. I didn’t even eat there! We left and I went to McD’s. Having worked in Food Service, I can understand a “BAD DAY”. So giving it another try, We ordered a Carryout Pizza. Once again, we were Very Disappointed. 1 lg round and 1 large “DEEP DISH” $26.02!! “LARGE DEEP DISH” was more like a Medium Flatbread. So not worth the money! Could’ve had Howies deliver. LESSON LEARNED!! We will not return!

2nd visit, a table of 7, we ordered walleye & cod dinners. Walleye was ok, but not great. Cod was good, but one person didn’t get their food until 15 minutes after the table was served. Two persons received their order wrong. The waitress had acknowledged the errors and gave 1 patron a discount, but it was not great overall.

The Owner Matt is the best! He makes sure you are always taken care of! The food is one of the best dive bar foods you will Ever find! Literally they have HUGE burgers(1/2lbs) pizza to just die for, some of the best live music…I can go on and on about this place! Thank you Dryden Bar! The servers are not just awesome to talk to bit will ALWAYS make you feel like you live in this little town. Def a stop spot if your rolling through to the Thumb, a little off the beaten path but I promise it’s worth it!!
