We enjoy visiting the Dry Dock when we come to Cape May. It is a small place with huge heart. The food is tasty and the dessert is wonderful! Great for that fried seafood fix we all need sometimes. They have indoor and outdoor seating, expect it to be busy but worth the wait. The clam strips are great, the flounder sandwich is delicious, and the side salad is the size of other restaurants entree salads! The produce was extremely fresh and had Jersey tomatoes that were excellent!

I absolutely love the food! I personally had grilled cheese and macaroni and cheese because I’m a very picky eater and it was perfect for something so simple. I even tried my brother’s dish which was flounder and it was amazing!! It’s the best flounder I’ve ever had and I don’t really like fish. I recommend this place to anybody that’s a picky eater, The food is not made fancy. It’s made homemade and it’s amazing. Whenever I visit Cape May again I will definitely visit here again!!

This is our go-to spot for ice cream when we’re in Cape May. The staff is friendly and helpful and the ice cream is delicious. LARGE portions and they get through a crowd quickly. Delicious!

Been here before, but only just now writing a review of this place. I’ve only been here for the ice cream and not the food, so can’t say much about their food. It is a busy place, and they do have tables and benches outside. their ice cream also tastes very fresh.

I’m a local, and I’ve been going to Dry Dock for years. I’ve always thought that it was rather expensive for the type of place it is, but I paid the price because I thought the quality was good. That has, unfortunately, changed. I can’t speak to the actual “dinners,” but mainly the ice cream. I remember years back when I would get a strawberry milkshake, it had real strawberries in the ice-cream; they would get caught in my straw. It was really delicious despite the $7 price tag (yikes!). But last year the strawberry ice cream is just pink with no berries. It’s also sweeter, not as good. I’ll try it again this summer to see if the quality of the other items (e.g., sandwiches, onion rings, etc.) has gone down or stayed the same. I realize that inflation is getting everyone (inc. businesses), but I’m just not willing to pay a lot of money for a mediocre product.

Very nice workers, however the food was terrible. We started with nachos that never had cheese, it was delivered half way through our meal, every chip was soaked in cold, store bought salsa and every chip was soggy because of it. No need for the raw onions or green bell peppers, there were plenty in the salsa. The jalapeños were good but again to many pepper in general. The Mexican wrap had little to no seasoning, the hamburger was not seasoned and over cooked, the chicken fingers were over cooked, and the grilled chicken special sandwich was dry. French fries were nice and crispy with a crunchy coating. 4 meals, 4 sodas and an appetizer plus tip was just over 90$. Overall a very disappointing meal .This place was a favorite spot growing up however I cannot justify spending that money again here.

We used to take our kids here back in the early 2000’s. They loved getting their meal served on a frisbee. The soft serve ice cream is very good
