This place is great! I just don’t throw around 5 star reviews unless things are exceptionally great! great cocktails, steak salad ( cooked to my temperature request) burgers and the hand cut truffle fries are great!!!! Go chat with the bartenders, learn about bourbon, try something new! I had a Rattlesnake rye, lemon juice, egg white and absinthe! Wonderful!

Dry 85 is a standout that nicely blends a rustic charm with modern sophistication. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it ideal for both casual dinners and special occasions. The menu offers exceptional dishes. My favorite was Rosemary French Fries! Their bourbon and whiskey selection is great and among the best in the area. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable, adding to the overall great experience. Whether for a night out with friends or a romantic evening, I would choose Dry 85.

Came to Dry 85 for a boozy brunch. I was not disappointed by the drinks at all. They have great cocktails; I especially love the big list of classic old school drinks. The donut bites were interesting. They tasted like mini corn/wheat fried donut ball. They were slightly over cooked which made the outside a bit harder than I would have liked. The steak and eggs was a great pile of tasty protein and a good value for the price. The garlic butter on top set it off. It’s flank so make sure it’s medium rare or rare be cause it’s easy to overcook. The wait staff knew everything about their menu. They were super friendly and quick to help.
Will come back soon!

Made a reservation here for 6 PM and drove an hour to Annapolis for my husband‘s birthday dinner. Told my reservation was canceled because they were unable to contact me to confirm. However, I had no missed calls and the phone number they had was correct. Ironically, they had a party of 20 coming in that required the table so truth is, they figured they would make more money and pushed us out!

Google Review: Dry 85 – Angel’s Envy ‘St. Caramel’ + Street Corn Tots + Seafood Mac Combo

Let’s talk about a meal that flirted with heaven and then lit your damn tongue on fire.

The seafood mac came through like Poseidon’s side dish—lobster so rich it probably has a 401k, and pasta creamy enough to make Alfredo blush. Then the street corn tots hit with that crunchy elote chaos. Sweet, spicy, messy, glorious. A Midwest fair food fever dream got a degree in culinary arts.

But the Angel’s Envy Barrel Strength ‘St. Caramel’? That thing wasn’t a whiskey—it was a baptism by fire. One sip and I saw caramel gods riding ROLO comets across a buttercream sky. 55% ABV, but smooth like a bourbon lounge singer crooning through a velvet storm. It kissed you with burnt sugar then hit you with full-bodied spice that punched politely… like a gentleman in brass knuckles.

Final burn: Old Fashioned was strong enough to check your ex’s location for you. And if you’re not ready for it? It’ll remind you you’re mortal.

Five stars. But be warned—this combo might just make you believe in flavor again.

Just returned from an awful Friday evening at Dry 85. The earlier reviews about poor service are sadly true. They are rightfully proud about the depth of their whisky and bourbon selection but cannot support it with their thin staff.

My fiancée and I were planning to have a few rounds of drinks and dinner at the bar of Dry 85. Like some others who have reviewed here, the first round of drinks and appetizer arrived promptly but after that, the bartenders and waitstaff were non-existent. Getting another drink and more food took over 20 minutes. And people from the table had to go to the bat because their waiters were not showing up to take orders. What type of restaurant just leaves it customers out in the cold on a Friday night? Read the reviews and you’ll see that is this happens a lot at Dry 85.

After getting tired of waiting we paid our bill (the first time the staff actually were attentive) and left.

Don’t bother with Dry 85. Lots of hype at a high price point and bad management. There are plenty of better alternatives in Annapolis that treat their customers better…

My type of bar, great bartenders making great cocktails. Excellent service and mixed drinks.

Lots of fancy whiskey, higher prices ($15 per drink) but kinda consistent with Annapolis. Can get busy and slow at times.

Great for bringing your buds, or your date out, or even stopping by solo dolo.
