Drumheller’s Food & Drink
The initial walkin experience, is a mixture of beautiful architecture, alongside a bit of confusion, when finding where to check in to be seated. This is a Lodging establishment first and foremost; so it is understandable that the Restaurant would be tucked away. Yet with the Drumheller being the center piece behind a lounging setting right as you walk in. I can’t help but wonder if a better placement of the large christmas tree, would have suited the walk-in experience better. Once I noted where I was meant to walk, to approach reception (behind the large tree); I had a small wait at around 10:10am. I was quickly seated at my own leisure, to choose where I felt most comfortable. The staff is quite kind; very efficient with their roles they play. I ordered the Pork Belly Hash, with a side of their Housemade gravy. The presentation was simplistic yet favorable to one’s senses, at first glance. (Due to the excellent choice of dishware, no doubt).
My First Bite; a Flavorful Explosion.. The Sweet Succulent Pork Belly, showcased the Chef’s abilities; not only to enlighten you to the Delicious nature of Pork Belly’s natural Flavor. But also enrich it with a Syrupy Sweet Glaze. Fork tender.. Melting with the Delicious Fattiness Pork Belly is known for; with a premium mouth feel from its Crispy Fried Edges. It blends harmoniously, alongside the well seasoned assortment of Sweet Potato, Idaho Potato or one similar; Shallots, Red Bell Pepper and possibly some Yellow Onion, and Garlic. The Silky Smooth yolk of those Sunnyside Up Eggs, with a sprinkling of Chives; gave an excellent extra serving of protein; with an added bonus of altering the mouth feel of the whole dish. Interestingly; when combined, the dish replicates the flavor profile and mouth feel of a fluffy fresh pancake, with a hint of maple syrup. Truly a well thought out breakfast creation. The side of Housemade Gravy, was a personal preference that made me close my eyes; processing each moment of its Flavorful Profile. It’s Cream Heavy, Delicate; Salty, Peppery Goodness with bits of Sausage encased in each small spoonful; make it a beautiful addition to this dish. Would I come here again? Without a doubt. Try this place and maybe experience more than the delicious assortment, I’ve enjoyed from a breakfast dish alone. The amenities of the Lodge itself seemed to cater to it’s guests quite well; judging from the many smiles I witnessed, from ones staying there roaming about. A Spa right down the hall after a great meal? Count me in.

I’ve dined at Drumheller’s many times, and every visit is consistently great. However, the breakfast I enjoyed this morning was truly amazing and deserves a special shoutout!

The Eggs Benedict were expertly prepared—the eggs perfectly poached, the hollandaise rich and tangy, all resting on a beautifully toasted English muffin. It was everything great Eggs Benedict should be.

But the absolute star of the show has to be the breakfast potatoes. They were clearly homemade, crispy yet tender, and seasoned to perfection. Honestly, they were the best breakfast potatoes I’ve ever had.
The table also thoroughly enjoyed the homemade biscuits and gravy.

Drumheller’s delivers a great dining experience with food that is consistently top-notch. If you’re in Richland, WA, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit, especially when staying at The Lodge at Columbia Point.

I’ve been by this place a ton and never realized they had a restaurant. I’m so happy I stumbled on this hidden gem. The food was fantastic. They have wonderful seating outside and inside where you can see the water.

This is my go-to place when I want a special breakfast. I’ve enjoyed everything I have here. The menu changes every now and then, so you might miss a favorite, but then you can just find new favorites! They have the best breakfast potatoes in the Tri-Cities, always well seasoned and perfectly crisp. Ask for a seat outside for a peaceful view of the river.

Came here for girls night birthday dinner. The dining room was very beautiful. It is in the hotel lobby and there are people checking in and coming down in robes etc but that didn’t bother us. Beautiful views over the water. Service was excellent! Our waitress was very nice and attentive. We ordered the Gouda fondue appetizer and it was delicious. I recommend you save your bread roll if you are going to order this and dip it in the cheese. So good! It comes with apples and what I could call croutons. Had a fall specialty cocktail which was also yummy. For entree we had the beef shoulder and it was cooked perfectly. So tender and seasoned well. Potatoes didn’t have much flavor but were still fresh and tasted good. We ended the night with a free dessert for our Birthdays with the chocolate cheesecake and it was amazing! I would go so far as to say the best cheesecake I have ever had. All in all it was one of the best dinners I have had in a while.

Went for the 3 course Valentine’s Day Dinner, and overall it was a enjoyable meal that gave a good overview of the food at Druhmhellars’. The ambiance here was mixed, as the seating was in a hotel lobby so you saw hotel guests checking in and out as well as people wandering in hotel robes which was mildly off-putting. The view of the river however, was quite nice. The service was excellent and attentive throughout the evening. The food was mostly good and there was an excellent cocktail menu with some unusual choices to try. I highly recommend the “Cara Cara & Cranberry” salad (our favorite part of the meal, it was perfectly balanced in flavor and texture) as well as the rosemary bread with herb butter (absolutely delightful!). Our entrees were lukewarm when they arrived, and the “Miso and Tamari Glazed Sablefish” was definitely the low point of our meal (especially for the price). It was average at best, had far too much broth, and an extremely small portion of fish. My gnocchi was excellent, with great lemon undertones, I just wish it had arrived warmer. The dessert was a nice meal closer, and I liked the tart pairing of raspberry clafouti with the lemon gelee. I will probably return in the future to try more of the menu, and definitely have that salad again.

Came for a solo work trip, and I asked to sit outside because the weather was still warm enough. They had the beautiful fire put going, and someone came out and lit the heaters for me, too. There were several parties dining inside, and I was the only one outside, but my water never hit empty. The food was incredible, and the service was top-notch. I just love it here. ❤️ I got the soup, the Brussel sprout & squash salad, a glass of wine, and a slice of pumpkin cheesecake to go. The soup was 10/10!!

Eaten here twice, first time was upstairs but they are remodeling so have converted a portion of the lobby downstairs into a smaller dining area. Reservations recommended!
Service was very prompt, friendly, and attentive.
The food tasted good, but I wasn’t overly wowed by anything. I liked that there were GF and vegetarian choices- apple endive salad was a nice combination of ingredients. The squash risotto was unique and also good, but I wish it had more squash or other veggies.

They were serving a sold out 6 course meal, but accommodated my request for the dinner menu in the bar. Asked for the recommendations and wasn’t disappointed. Steak was cooked as requested, and the chimichurri was Good food, good service and there’s a spa in the lodge as well for facials and massage. Great views, and overall a great dining experience.
