We stopped here because we were in the area and wanted to try the food. This is a cool place with lots of history to check out while visiting. Staff was friendly and personable. The fries are some of the best I’ve ever had. We also got wings, which stood up to their reputation and the giant mozzarella sticks. The bartender told us they were a half pound of cheese! Make a note that they don’t open until 4pm!

Review for Drovers Inn
We made reservations for Mother’s Day and were seated right away—great start to a special day! The service was prompt and friendly, and the food didn’t disappoint. The wings were excellent, as always—crispy and flavorful. Drovers never lets us down. Highly recommend!

We arrived when they first opened at 4. We had no wait, no reservation. However, if you have a larger party, or don’t want to wait long, I would call for a reservation. Food was delicious! Chicken wings are made to perfection!
Bottle caps are a must have and their dressing, ranch and blue cheese, homemade. So good. Give this place a try. It’s cozy and the staff is friendly.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the warm hospitality of a DMV waiting room. The waitress was so unwelcoming and miserable that we weren’t sure if we’d interrupted her day or committed a crime by ordering food.
To be clear: the food didn’t come out slowly — the service itself moved at a glacial pace. Like, “we aged emotionally between check-ins” slow. Drinks took forever, refills were a fantasy, and any interaction felt like we were inconveniencing her by existing.
The wings were another letdown. Barely any meat, and despite trying multiple flavors, every single one tasted like disappointment with a hint of nothing. Bland, boring, and completely forgettable.
Not a single person in our family had a good experience. Honestly impressive how consistently bad it was across the board.

13 years in the area and my only regret is not visiting sooner. One of the oldest establishments in the area, a historic landmark with excellent food and service. The wings are great and the broasted chicken is amazing. An absolute must stop in the valley!

I’ve always been a fan, but lately I’m realizing that the wings just aren’t worth the money that you have to pay here. They aren’t that big and there’s nothing that sets the sauces apart from others.
The service is always great and I enjoy the atmosphere.
Lastly, if you like hot wings, you need to order the hurt me flavor. I had Atomic and they really weren’t hot at all. I assume hurt me is at least hotter, just not sure how much hotter.

I first had Drovers wings in 1990, 35 years later still has great wings! I’ve been to tavern in the cellar and it is a pretty cool atmosphere. You need to go down stairs to get to it. Never been to dining room on main floor but looks nice.

Don’t eat in the basement. It is loaded with cobwebs, dust, and mold. Getting refills was impossible, and the soda tasted like seltzer water. I got wings and got the next level up from hot, and they were not hot at all. The fries were so soggy and undercooked. I don’t see the hype of this place, it’s mediocre at best.

Today was our first visit and we absolutely loved it. I had the chicken wings and the fried chicken. They were perfectly prepared!!! The staff was great and the location is rich in beauty (if you enjoy historic places). I highly recommend this place to eat as well as a quick tour.

I love this place. The cellar is my favorite. The wings are delicious and so is the shrimp basket. Even the waffle fries are amazing. I highly recommend getting them with cheese and bacon. This place is a whole experience.
