DropTop Pizza in downtown Saline is one of the best restaurants in town! The pizza is extraordinary. It’s the only gluten free pizza I’ve ever had that doesn’t taste like cardboard or land like a rock in my stomach. So good! The smash burgers are the best I’ve ever had. Crispy burger, creamy cheese and mayo, delicious bun, great options for variations. I love the green olive smash burger. The service is excellent. Super friendly. Great atmosphere. I recently discovered this delicious nonalcoholic drink from Short’s Brewery. It has hops and a unique flavor. Happy to have a hop alternative to beer.

While working in the area I was looking for a place that had great Detroit style pizza, and DropTop came up so my co-worker and I decided to give it a try, and we were not disappointed. Between the two of us we tried the wings (buffalo), dipsticks (cheesy breadsticks), Joey’s Favorite pizza and and Oklahoma fried onion burger (the last 2 are pictured). Everything was phenomenal and I can’t recommend this place enough. If I ever find myself back in the area I would definitely stop back in.

We love this place! Their smash burgers and pizza are both so tasty. My husband is gluten free and that is one of our favorite things about Droptop- they offer homemade gf buns for their burgers, and make an incredible gf pizza. We highly recommend both. The service is always Fast and friendly. You won’t leave disappointed. When looking for quality, Comfort food in a family friendly environment, give DropTop a chance. You will likely become a “regular”!

(Late Jan 2026). My wife and I popped in to try this place for the first time. The pizza was very good – excellent Detroit style. The bar gives this place a leg-up in my opinion. My wife got the chocolate chip cookie dough shake (Outstanding!). We built our own pizza. The menu is very diverse…something for everyone really. It was a bit cold in the decor…but overall it was a very good experience.

We got there at 5pm and were seated immediately, but the place was packed. Shoutout to Melissa our server–she was delightful by which I mean helpful, joyful and kind. She was excited about the food which made us excited.
We had the community pizza of the month and split the Oklahoma burger. Both were REALLY DELICIOUS. My co-worker had a milk shake and I had a “nojito.” Again, both really delicious.
We have committed to coming back every other week so that we can make our way through the menu. Seriously, super good.

It was actually delicious! Just too far for me to drive for pizza, but I did enjoy it. We got the Margherita, a build your own and 1 more, but I can’t remember the name. We also got salad, which was small for the price and fries, which were good. I’d recommend them for sure!

DropTop is a great addition to Saline. Great, consistent food and service. My mom calls it her favorite burger place. We usually get the Pizza Fritta, California Classic Burger (split in half) and a custom pizza. It’s nice they will cut the burger in half for you so you have room for a slice of pizza, too! Milkshakes are also the bomb.com. We keep bringing more and more friends to try out this spot with us.

We wanted to grab some dinner after a game day in Ann Arbor, but we knew the downtown restaurants would be crowded, so we took a little drive to explore Saline and ended up here. The reviews looked fantastic, so we were excited to give it a try.
Our server, Trinity, was outstanding. She was friendly and efficient and seemed to be handling the whole place by herself!
We started with the Caesar salad, which was excellent, It was difficult to choose from the great variety of pizza options, but we ended up with the Skylark. It had a really unique flavor and was the perfect size for sharing.
A great spot in a fun little downtown!

Been seeing a line outside every weekend, so decided to try it on a Tuesday to see how it was. Got a side salad to start, stuffed pepper as an appetizer, and a “Joey’s Favorite ” pizza as the main course. I had a couple of beers, wife had wine. Everything was exceptionally good. What made it better was our server, Benjamin, was very prompt, helpful with questions, and just all around pleasant and vibrant. Kudos to him!! Will definitely be back and also spread the word. Great experience all around!! Highly recommend!!

We really love the pizzas and smash burgers here. So, when they added two new sandwiches to the menu that sounded really good, we wanted to try them. VERY disappointed! They were both $16 a piece and so small and underwhelming. The garlic grilled cheese was to be paired with tomato bisque soup. Which turned out to be about 1 cup of soup by volume, at most. And they initially forgot the soup and side greens that were to come with these sad sandwiches. So I had to go back in to request them. We also ordered a side of waffle fries (good) and an underwhelming new salad as well. All of this for over $60. Stick with the pizza.
