Delicious BBQ brisket and chicken. We shared the brisket sandwich and the loaded baked potato with BBQ chicken and melted cheese. A lucky find right off 95 on our way from NJ to FL!! Great owner – we wish him continued success!!

My name is Paul. I was a first time visitor to the Droptop BBQ establishment, currently servicing in Riceboro, Ga at The SNF Chemtal facility. I was curious to know what all the fuss was about; seeing that the line was always long and had never seemed to decrease in number! lol. I went up to order and told the owner that it was my first time.I then asked him to prepare me any dish of his choice. He said with a smile, “thank you for giving me that opportunity”. He served me the Boston butt. Along with a delicious butter bean and okra; lying of a bed of fluffy white rice. Lastly, there was a side of tasty macaroni and cheese, with a nice fresh dinner roll to complete the dish. Not to mention, the lemonade was tasted very fresh as if had been hand squeeze and made to order. “I was overly satisfied and love every bit. I even went back up there and order another side of butter beans and okra ! If you ever in the area where Droptop BBQ is; do yourself and favor and stop by to grab something to eat. You won’t regret it.

Their food is absolutely amazing and the portions is plenty you won’t be hungry. Their atmosphere is fun and relaxed. I never review people at least not often. Give it a chance you won’t be disappointed and also try their yams OMG.

Go. Get the ribs. You can thank me by buying me ribs too. I’d like to try more of the menu, but I can’t bring myself to order something else instead of the ribs. I’m gonna have to make my girlfriend order other things so I can actually try other things than the ribs and sides, if I can sneak it off of her plate without losing a finger.
Great food, nice friendly vibe. I go out specifically looking for good places to eat in the area, and I’m going to have a hard time going anywhere else for ribs now.
