Finally stopped by Drome in Seaside for a quick weekday lunch. I’ve passed by this place so many times since it opened but never had the chance to try it.
Ordered the Northeastern style dumplings and the chicken fried rice. As someone who grew up eating dumplings, I’m usually pretty picky, but these were really good. The fried rice was also super flavorful. Simple lunch but definitely hit the spot. I’ll be back to try more from the menu next time.

Drome is a must in Seaside!
The dumplings were incredible, the chicken fried rice was packed with flavor, and the Brussels sprouts were shockingly good—crispy, bold, and addictive. The boba drinks were refreshing and perfectly balanced. And, the cheesecake egg roll for dessert was AMAZING—crispy, creamy, and the perfect sweet finish Everything was delicious. Easy 5 stars and already planning our return.

This place is amazing! We saw the testimonial of the owners online and decided to make the 2+ hours drive to check it out. Food is UH-MAZING, the service was super sweet, and the location is just absolutely gorgeous. We literally returned the following weekend to enjoy it again and we’ll be back often. Love the entire vibe and every single thing on the menu is delicious! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a must stop if you’re in Seaside! Unbelievable food and great service! The inside out brisket grilled cheese buns are one of the best bites I’ve ever tasted. The flavors in everything we tried were outstanding. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Went here on a recommendation…got the shrimp on fried rice with yum yum sauce. Was truly amazing!!! Flavorful with the perfect amount of heat. Had an ice cold beer but will try a boozy drink next time as a girl at the bar said they were life changing. Whitley and Ty,the owners, were super friendly. Overall a great experience and I will definitely return!

What an awesome place!! Met one of the owners and he is so kind and outgoing. Food is INCREDIBLE and so excited to have this quality and type of food available. Drink menu is very creative and fit for both warm and cold weather. Fantastic flavors for everything! Covered outdoor seating and bar seating is available. I would love to see this restaurant flourish and have to move to a bigger space where inside seating is an option. Highly recommended. Give this family business a shot! Will be back, can’t wait to get more awesome food and drinks from here

Please prepare yourself to taste *not exaggerating* the best dumplings you’ve ever had. My fiance and I’s standard for dumplings is Joe’s Shanghai, and these dumplings make Joe’s look weak. The drinks are 10/10 and the staff is so friendly and accommodating- especially Tyrese. The dragon fruit margarita and the matcha martini were also out of this world. We’ll be back soooo soon!!

I’ve been coming to seaside for the past 3 years, and my boyfriend the past 12, and ‘drome is exactly what the area needed. Even he said that this is what Seaside has been missing!! I’m from ATX and he’s from HTX so we’ve each definitely have had our fair share of dumplings and Chinese bites, heck I even used to work at a bao shop for two years, but this was genuinely one of the yummiest, best tasting places we have both been to. 10/10 would recommend again. We’ll be back!!

3.5 starts. Decided to try something new in Seaside. We ordered the dumplings (chicken was all that was offered) and the shaken cold cucumber salad. We were told the dumplings were pan fried but they were in fact steamed. Not my fav. Cucumbers were nice and fresh. About $30 for the two items. Food was decent, sauces flavorful. Cute atmosphere. Staff friendly.
