Nice, quiet atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They ensured we were well taken care of. The food…..their bruschetta is the BEST I’ve ever had! We also had the Linguine Alla Vongole and the the Ravioli Di Aragosta E Granchio and they were both wonderful! There are several dishes on their menu that we’d like to try, so we’ll definitely be going back! Complimenti allo chef!

Our server Buffy was super sweet and attentive! She was so helpful when we asked to alter our order from the standard menu. This was our second time dinning here, we enjoyed our meals and the view just as much as the first. Definitely recommend for a cute dinner date or quaint family dinning.

The new owners!! Everything was so good!
I got the spinach ravioli, my cousin got chicken parm, and my wife got crab stuffed salmon. We also got calamari, as well as the cheesy garlic bread. Every thing was so good. My kids were so happy with the spaghetti and meat ball and Mac and cheese. They also brought fresh Parmesan. Everything tasted so fresh! If you have a previous opinion about the restaurant from before you should definitely come try it now. 10/10 and our waitress had awesome hair!

Excellent dining experience in a cozy, intimate setup. D’Rocco’s has a rich history, starting in the 1800s. One of the owners who was very kind, Dave, took his time to show me some parts of this restaurant, including the fireplace in the picture, that are still in their original state well over 200 years later! Phenomenal if you are a history lover. The food was very good too, I tried the Octopus, which came in a sizzling platter. All in all, it was a 5 star experience. Will definitely be back!

First time in since new ownership. Food was amazing. Nicely plated and served promptly. Love restaurants that will split plates in the kitchen for my parents. We enjoyed chatting with the wait staff and everyone was pleasant. Few of the walls seemed bare, but it appears they are making improvements. Will definitely go back!

Stopped by D’Rocco’s to have lunch with my wife and it was great. Helen the Bartender/server took great care of us and made us feel like we were family. The Hamburger I purchased was the DRoccos burger, oh so good! A full meal in a burger. Will definitely go back for the food and atmosphere.

Went today. Really impressed. So I am a serious lasagna snob, usually don’t like it and avoid it except for places I think will hit a home run. Didn’t think these guys would. So it was excellent, would get it again. Not the best I’d ever had, but mad respect for the food. Inside was nice, historic house. Owner’s kid served me and did a great job. The view was ‘okay’ as it’s a little constrained by the window setup. Am sure in warm weather their patio does well. Great place to stop and eat if down in Occuquan. Wish them the best.

Friendly professional service, great ambience in the main dining room. Food was very good! I had the pollo Alla vodka which was delicious. The creme brulee was very good, thin top crust, not chewy, and creamy consistency. Wine list isn’t extensive but, they had wines I had not heard of which were very good. I highly recommend this as your go to Italian restaurant!

I went with a big party and everyone gave the restaurant a 3 to 4 star rating. I decided to just rate off my experience since I can’t give a 3.5. The service was excellent and my food was good. I don’t think the price point for the food was worth the flavors that I got. I don’t think I would go again on my own but if someone wanted to try it, I would just get completely different things. Try for yourself and see what you think.

On Christmas Eve, my daughter and son-in-law, along with our grandson, invited my wife and I out for dinner at D’Rocco’s. They had been there before, but we had not. Upon arrival, we found the historic building to be warm and inviting and the staff equally so. We learned that the staff was reduced in anticipation of fewer reservations that evening. Well, after we were seated, people started pouring in. While you would expect serious delays in service, that did not happen. Their personnel were up to the task. In our case, the bartender was also our waitress. She never missed a beat and provided excellent service with a smile. We all enjoyed our meals. My daughter and I both selected D’Rocco’s fettuccine pescatore off of their “specials” menu. I can say without reservation, it was one of the best meals I’ve had all year. To sum it up… great atmosphere, food and service (under difficult conditions). Even the owner visited our table twice to make sure we were happy. Oh yeah, and one last point… if you don’t get at least one order of their meatballs you are missing out on a real treat. Sorry about the long-winded review, but it was really that good!
