While we was eating our food a cock roach was on our table. After we started watching we seen several climbing in the wall. The owner lied and said that a party brought a flag in and the roaches came in with it. Take in mind we have ate there several times before and this said flag has been up on this wall for I know a year. We will not eve set foot back in this place. Picture to show the roach sitting on a napkin on our table.

Very nice, casual restaurant. Excellent customer service. They have specials each night. They serve tasty hush puppies to snack on while you are waiting for your food. Great salad bar with a good variety of additions- pickled okra, pickles, pickled cucumbers, carrots, onions, baby corn, olives, ham, eggs, pasta salad, bacon bits, croutons and crackers. Lots of appetizers. Catfish, steaks, shrimp, chicken. We got the scrap plate that comes with an 8oz steak, fish fillet and 3 fried shrimp and 2 sides and Texas toast – it was plenty to share. The steak was cooked just as ordered. Fish fillet was cooked perfectly. Tasty shrimp. The baked potato was huge and cooked well- nice and fluffy- served with butter and sour cream.

Small town restaurant with pretty good steaks. The steak for 2 is a good deal, you can split it, and each get two sides. I also had the fried shrimp plate. You get 8 shrimp with two sides for around $22, or sub out 1 side for a salad bar trip (one small bowl of salad) for an extra $3.50. The live music is nice! It’s a nice alternative if you don’t want to drive into Tupelo. It’s not a cheap place to eat though at all. It doesn’t compare to Red Lobster or Longhorn in my opinion. Just local grub, nothing fancy, but decent food.

This country, family resturant was fantastic! Service was great, and the food was simply everything one would look for in a quaint, off the beaten path, country cookery.
The catfish and shrimp were fresh, and fried to a crisp perfection. Portions were ample and the steaks were cut to order, cooked to a smokey perfection, leaves one completely satisfied.
Live music and a gathering for locals, one should add this place as a must visit when in the area!

Overall I thought the food was good, but nothing I would consider returning back for. The hushpuppies were a little on the hard side. The cajun fish filets were ok. The baked sweet potato was good. I think the shrimp and fried pickles tied for 2nd. I don’t think I received a great quality or value for the amount paid.

Shows online they’re open. Tried to call nobody answered. Stopped by and they’ve locked the door. All I wanted was an order of hush puppies and a salad. But that’s ok they need not worry about getting my money ever again. The food sucks here anyways for the price for sure. Only reason I was stopping was cuz it said they was open. I guess when you ain’t getting no business you might as well shut the doors early

I ordered the hamburger steak with potato salad and fried okra. I also ordered fried mushrooms for an appetizer. Everything was delicious. Too much for me to eat at one sitting. I had to get a to go box to enjoy it the next day

I was pleasantly surprised that the food was better than our first try a few years ago, but the atmosphere is still the same, which leaves a lot to be desired. You would think at the prices they charge they could at least put a little effort into making the dining room more appealing. The service was bringing our initial drinks taking our order then never seen again…..not even to bring the check which is disappointing but pretty typical lately. The only thing I can say was positive was our food was pretty good, but it was very pricey. Does the cost meet the quality and taste…..no but we were looking for something we hadn’t had in a while so I could take them out of my roster for another few years

We have eaten here for a few years very often. Love the atmosphere and the food. However, the roaches have seemed to get worse over time. The very first time was a few years ago while fixing a salad there was one crawling on the salad bar. But we love it so much we continued to go. Most recently being there about a month ago. Saw not one but several roaches crawling on the fence wall next to the booth we were sitting in 1 being adult and 2 being babies. I was hanging off the booth seat in fear of them getting on me or my food. Immediately lost my appetite and wasted my food. We have jokingly renamed it the roach motel and will not be back until i am sure they are gone or at least under control.
