If you don’t want to make the trek east to the Marshwalk, Driftwoods has a solid seafood selection & quality. Not pictured are some of the best hush puppies I’ve had. Cool boat & fish centric decor. I would visit again.

Waitress (Abree) was great. Refilled drinks without being asked. Food arrived quickly. It was hot and delicious. Shrimp were prepared just right, tender and not chewy. Flounder was tasty and flaky, not mushy. Will definitely be back!

10/7/25: Our party of four was quite pleased with the friendliness and attentiveness of server Ethan White. The two pieces of meatloaf were sizable and delicious. More scallops than you’d expect with the scallop dinner. Finished off the meal with Driftwoods homemade bread pudding with vanilla ice cream and whipped topping. Don’t visit here without trying (or sharing) this large dessert. Our ❤️friends frequent Driftwoods so we tried it at their urging and left happy and full.

The best we have had on this vacation. We both had the all you can eat crab legs and shrimp. Chefs kiss! Wonderful. The prices eeeryecvellent also. No over priced food. Our server Jimmy Burke was amazing. I will go so far as to say the best server I have ever had. Wonderful personality. He really seems to enjoy his job which goes a long long way. We will definitely return. Highly recommend. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Update: our first trip here was great! You can read below. We were just here last weekend and it was horrible! Cold She Crab soup that I had to send back, my husband wanted the special of blackened sirloin and scallops. Steak was tough and the scallops a joke. I had the chicken marsala and it was salty, chicken was overcooked and the mashed potatoes were like glue. We asked our server if they had a new cook because the food was just horrible. I even sent an email with no response. Sad because I thought we had found a new awesome place.
OLD REVIEW: Stuffed flounder was excellent and the She Crab soup is the best I have had since we moved down here and I have tried it many places. Reasonable prices too.

This is a great restaurant where we have eaten many times. I had a ribeye steak that was very tasty. One of my favorite items is the cracker and tuna dip. It has a smokey flavor and is absolutely delicious!! We had a party of 16 and we were served quickly with utmost courtesy!

Always enjoy the food and service here. Today I was here with my wife for happy hour. The portions were ample considering it was happy hour, and included dessert and nonalcoholic beverages.
The shrimp and grits are perfect; my shrimp and haddock with two sides tasted delicious.
Our waiter JACOB did such an awesome job. He is not only engaging, he quickly replaced my plate when my seafood was fried instead of blackened. Both plates were served with generous portions. Our desserts, key lime pie for Phyllis and chocolate cake for me, were very good.
We will eat here again and if JACOB is the server we are assured of friendly, respectful and efficient service.

You are in for a wonderful treat if you like fried oysters. Chefs, I drop my chef hat to whomever fried the oysters. No grease Period! Sweet and tender. Go check it out for yourself.
Not a fan of the slaw. Baked potato perfect. Hush puppies good. Fresh sweet tea.
You really can’t get any better oysters than what we had. Even got a side order to check out consistency. And they were spot on.

We arrived at 4:00 table of four first table in the bar drinks came out nicely. Put food order in. We order two Orders of stuffed crab mushrooms and I ordered a salad. I never received my salad. The waitress never brought my salad and she acted like it was no big deal. We only got to eat one crab ball before dinner came out. Every-time we eat there the appetizers come out almost the same time as our dinner. We ordered dessert I ordered a cup of tea she never brought the tea so I did not say anything. Food is always good but service is never timed right. Servers should know no one likes to eat apps with main meal.

The service was pretty decent and the food was good overall. I ordered the blackened Mahi Mahi with slaw and cheddar potatoes and my wife ordered the fried big platter. The Mahi Mahi was pretty tough and a little dry (under the heat windows a bit I assume) but was edible. This place can get busy and parking can be a pain but the experience overall wasn’t bad but could be better. Also, be prepared for a surcharge on your CC or debit card..we got hit with 2.75 on a $91 bill
