Cute nautical themed restaurant. Scallops and lobster are wonderful, also has good homemade fries and decent hush puppies.

Had the surf and turf and got sirloin and lobster tail. Lobster was amazing. While the steak was cooked to order, it was very salty so I would recommend just sticking to the seafood options on the menu.

They also have unique dessert options – one of which is a cookie wonton (think like a fried wonton for crab rangoon but instead of savory it’s sweet, instead of cheese/crab filling it is filled with warm cookie dough and served with whipped cream, ice cream, and chocolate drizzle. It was a hit with the family!)

I would definitely go back and try some of their other items. Definitely worth giving a shot if you are craving seafood. 🙂

This was our first time dining here and I must say we were pleasantly pleased. I have to commend Zoe, whom was the bartender and server for our table since we ate in the bar area. She was so nice and knowledgeable when we had questions about certain items on the menu. The food was very good especially the seasonal veggies OMG, I could have just ate them and nothing else. We had the firecracker oysters for starters and they were very good. Then we had the catfish special and the fish and chips all was very good. Thanks to Zoe for some of the best drinks. The blue motorcycle was amazing .

Tried Driftwood Seafood Co. during their soft opening and really liked it! I’ll miss The Clubhouse, but this feels like a great new addition. The menu has a ton of seafood options, and I love that they clearly mark gluten-free dishes.

Service was great—our server Abby took great care of us. We had the fish & chips (crispy and flavorful), crab cakes (really good), clam chowder (fine, not amazing), and corn (would skip next time). Overall though, lots of promise here and I’m excited to come back and try more dishes once they settle in.

Overall it was a decent experience, Driftwood still has the potential to grow but they will need some time. I started off with the crab dip which did not have a traditional dip consistency but more of a paella look & feel. It tasted ok but I wouldn’t order it again. Next, I ordered the fish & chips and visually they were a 9/10 but with a combination of too much batter and not enough cook time you could tell and taste the batter wasn’t cooked all the way through, pretty doughy on the inside. Fries were great though. I gave the same feed back to the manager, he seemed opened to the advice but we’ll see if they capitalize on it.

It was my first time dining at Driftwood and it did not disappoint! Everything we ordered was spot on. Fresh, cooked to perfection, and pleased the palate in the best ways possible. The service and staff were top notch and ensured we had the best experience possible. I can’t wait to get back again!

The grouper bites didnt make it to the picture, they were gone too fast. The scallops almost didnt make it either.

Interesting experience…1st time going to the Driftwood and the place was a mixture of bad with some good. Let’s go from bad to good to bad:

– As you entered the Driftwood you’re struck with how bare and unadorn the restaurant was…it reminded me of a bowling alley eating establishment, based on the decor.
– We (2 couples) first put in our drink order, 2 Sangrias (advertised as being made with wine, brandy, simple sryup and orange juice), an Old Fashion and a plain coffee with cream. The Sangria did not have simple syrup nor brandy (tasted like sour wine vinegar), the Old Fashion was horrible (how do you screw up an old fashion?) and the coffee turned out to be hot tea with cream. One person ordered a Margarita, but had to send it back because they forgot to add the salt on the rim. Waitress said there was a new bartender (alone on a Saturday night).
– The food came (Jambalaya, grilled Swordfish, grilled Shrimp and Fish&Chips) and it was OK, but on level with Red Lobster, nothing really stood out.
– The bill came and it was screwed up and never did get straightened out even after being sent back. Then we noticed the restaurant added a 3.9% charge because we used a credit card…who doesn’t use a credit card now days….very sad.

Went during soft opening weekend. The seafood “boils” do not come in a bag, it’s in a big white bowl. Chris the owner was there and stopped by our table. My friend ordered 1/2 lb of crab legs and it had one red potato cut in 4’s, 3 ears of corn and 4 sausages. For $27, the crab legs were so small and not worth the price! When she cracked them open all the meat was broken up and only 1 whole piece of meat out of the 5 legs she cracked open. She complained and expressed her concerns to the GM. The GM apologized and said this was their soft opening weekend so they appreciated the feedback and wanted to hear about things they could fix. I ordered salmon, it was $34 with two sides, I got island rice (not pictured b/c they gave sweet potatoes fries and not the rice like I ordered) and red potatoes and a glass of sangria. When they brought the sangria out, it had no fruit as stated on the menu and it tasted like a red dry wine, no sangria at all, sent it back. GM came and said the shipment flavors (or whatever they put in the sangria’s didn’t come in for sangrias and added something to it, still didn’t like it but I didn’t send it back). I feel like they need to give more food especially the crab legs or get bigger crab legs for the price or come down on the price or take them off all together. The GM ended up taking $8 off my friends meal. I had cash to pay and thankfully I did b/c they charge a 3% fee for cards. That needs to be disclosed on the menu as well. Also with the scan and pay; chicken wings were $12 on the menu but ringing up $14 on the scan and pay and was adding another dollar to the beer I believe, so be careful when u do scan and pay here bc its increasing the price and adding the 3% credit card fee. I will likely not return. But wanted to give them a try. Pics attached.

This was our first time visiting this new seafood restaurant. I wanted to treat my 85 year old mother for an early dinner. We got there at opening and there was only one couple ahead of us. We had two different extremely friendly staff members wait on us within a few minutes. They were extremely appreciative for us stopping by. We started with the most flavorful steamed mussels dipped in the best garlic butter ever. My mother’s fish n chips was really good and it was accompanied by a boat load of the most fantastic French fries that were of course hot. I throughly enjoyed two 5 oz lobster tails steamed to perfection. I also got hot fries but the most amazing part were the steamed vegetable medley (broccoli, zucchini and squash). I have never had that combination served to such perfection. They were awesome. Our drinks were always topped off. We are local so we will definitely be coming back!
