This was an amazing experience eating here. The staff was amazing and attentive and friendly. They cooked our catch three different ways it was amazing. The coconut shrimp and crab cakes were delightful. A wonderful must visit place in Orangestad ♡

I’ve been craving this place since I went 1 week ago. The seafood pasta dish was absolutely amazing! I enjoyed the nautical atmosphere. I will definitely return next time I’m in Aruba. I’m not sure if reservations are required, we had one and the place was packed.

Driftwood Restaurant is a great establishment with a welcoming ambiance. The food was good. The crab cakes were definitely our favorite item here. Would surely come back for them as they were simply sublime. Do ask for the hot sauce as it was amazing with the crab cakes and the other items. The sangria was well made. The service was friendly, courteous, and attentive. Restaurant patrons were able leave writings on the walls to commemorate their visit and etch themselves into the establishment. Very cool aspect. Would definitely recommend when in Aruba.

We did a fishing charter with Driftwood Charters and caught tuna, barracuda, and wahoo. Went to the restaurant where for $17/person the fish we caught were prepared in multiple styles. It was one of the best dinners I have had in years!

I really had a wonderful time at the Driftwood. The environment is unique, nautical, and loads of fun. A lot of the wood around the restaurant is interesting with all types of written messages in it from patrons. The food is excellent! The price isn’t too bad for Aruba. I definitely will be going back as often as possible.

Our server was so nice and accommodating, food came up quickly and piping hot.
I tried the fish soup and he brought some papaya hot sauce to add to it. Great call!
The escargot is a can’t miss appetizer and the creole shrimp with a peach sauce was also great.

We visited the restaurant after our fishing charter as they offered to cook what we had caught. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all fantastic. The servers all work together to ensure that everyone has what they need. I would highly recommend Driftwood to anyone visiting the island.

I thought this place was great. Service was nice and attentive. The placed had a little age, but it had character and was clean which is what I mostly care about.
My friend and I both took the waiters suggestion and got the catch of the day. We each chose a different style (my friend got it blackened and I got the lemon/garlic or something). She didn’t think the blackened was too spicy and probably would have liked a little more heat, but Aruba caters to Americans and most Americans are pretty bland (myself included!) so whatevs.
We got an appetizer and a cocktail and it was all tasty, too.
Overall, I recommend it, and I would go again if ever in Aruba.
