I have to help out the overall rating here. The food was terrific – try the flatbread, the crispy curry cauliflower (delicious!), the soup special was pumpkin sage (savory, not sweet), and more. Great menu selection for a bar. The servers were on top of things and very upbeat.

The views were wonderful – we were there at sunset and stepped outside every time the skies changed.

Had dinner here with my friend on September 22, 2025. I ordered Short Ribs and was terribly disappointed. Although the vegetables are good, the meat was so tough I can barely cut it with my knife. It was just one pieces of really tough beef and not even one rib in sight! Considering I was paying $34 for this, I was expecting a much better meal!!!

It is really too bad that the food did not do justice to the restaurant location with the commanding view of the river and a beautiful sunset.

It pains me to review this with a one-star considering the spectacular views one can enjoy at this establishment. I had lunch here with three other individuals. All of our orders had issues with them. My order came 15 minutes after the other three. I ordered the French onion soup, which was supposed to come with gruyere cheese and pastry. When I pointed out that the soup did not come with either, the waiter was surprised I sent it back. When it arrived 10 minutes later, the gruyere cheese was still not there and the pastry was sadly placed on top of the soup bowl. The chicken on my Caesar salad was thin, dry, and small portioned. Although I was given a 15% discount on my order, it in no way made up for the disappointing experience.

This was a solid 3 stars. While we were pleasantly surprised by wonderful service (after reading other reviews, we were worried), we did have a bit dried out bun for the burger, drinks that didn’t quite match the description, and oily pasta. The chicken was beautiful and the kids’ pizza was a hit.

Took the recommendation of braised short rib from the server Michael, and the dish did not disappoint. I paired it with old fashioned on the rock, refreshing combo indeed.

Expectation exceeded once again for a meal during a road trip!

We come to this restaurant every year during our Lake Powell trip and we always look forward to it. Unfortunately they changed the menu this year and did away with some of our favorites (goodbye delicious hot honey coleslaw chicken sandwich). The service is always great – Christine has taken great care of us for two years running now – and the view is like no other. Completely surrounded by Lake Powell.

We ate dinner here one night while staying at the hotel. Our server, Christine, did a great job and was super helpful answering all of our questions. Both the signature burger and fried chicken sandwich were delicious.

Let’s make it four and a half cuz nothing’s perfect. But we had lunch. My advice is to not concentrate on the poor reviews if you are considering eating here, and just make up your own mind. I thought the cheese steak sandwich was pretty good, the fries were good, and the chicken and veggie rice soup of the day was good. Drinks were OK, and the air conditioned view was worth the price of admission. Oh, and service was excellent. Prices fair. Everything other diners were having looked great too. Good luck.

So cool! I had found the place as a suggestion for dinner online, but we were in the neighborhood after viewing Glen Canyon Dam so we thought we’d check it out. Not intending to actually find it was open in mid afternoon(says it’s open for dinner at 5 PM)……….the bartender, Bradley, was fabulous…….he invited us in and we ordered apps and had several delicious cocktails! All with amazing views of Lake Powell. Hope to come back soon!

First I want to start off with the service. They were excellent, 5 stars! The view was also amazing! But when I pay $50 for a new York strip and $45 for a pork chop, I expect very good. It was not. Both were over cooked and dry. The steak was ordered medium. We should have said medium rare. The pork was very tough and dry. Very disappointed. If we ever comeback here, we’re doing appetizers and a salad.
