Review for Driftwood Diner
I stopped in at Driftwood Diner and I’m glad I did. The food was excellent — everything tasted fresh, well-prepared, and served hot. But the real highlight of the visit was the banana split. It was to die for. Perfectly ripe bananas, big scoops of ice cream, real whipped cream piled high, chocolate drizzle, nuts, and a cherry on top — easily one of the best I’ve ever had.
Our waiter, Zach, made the experience even better. He was attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel welcome. It’s always great when the service matches the quality of the food.
If you’re anywhere close by, make sure to stop in. And definitely don’t leave without trying that banana split.

Campfire meal was tonight’s special. Steak, potatoes, onion, carrots, and corn on the cob!!! It was wonderful!
We had the brownie sundae and the banana split for desert! Oh my goodness! Decadent! They serve milkshakes and banana splits in the “old fashioned” traditional glass dishes.

Enjoyed our visit to the diner. The coleslaw was amazing! If you like coleslaw, I highly recommend theirs. We enjoyed dinner and a sweet treat, afterwards. Good prices and food. They are only open during the summer and close during the winter.

Another first, the Peanut Butter Burger, was cut and shared amongst our family just to see what the hype was all about. Unbelievable! Whoever decided to put this on the menu was a genius. We all four loved this burger combination: beef patty, peanut butter, cinnamon and sugar.
Dessert options are nearly endless, too. But we opted for the brownie sundae and it was delicious!
Can’t wait to come back for dinner.

My family and I went to the restaurant on Saturday August 2nd. We were very much pleased with everything. The atmosphere was top notch and the service was exceptional. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. We would recommend this place to everyone. We will definitely make the drive from our home to the Driftwood again soon. We live nearly a hundred miles away and will definitely go back. We enjoyed our food so much that we ordered more to take back home with us. Also the brownie sundae is the best we have ever had.

I ordered a Cheesesteak anticipating a bun with the required meat, onion, cheese, and peppers inside. I got white bread toasted. It was ok, but to keep buns on hand couldn’t be that difficult.

Cute family owned business! Very sweet staff. We only went for dessert but my mother has eaten there many time and loves it. The desserts are amazing. A new one everyday!! I highly recommend this place whether eating a meal or just dinning for dessert!! We got superman Ice cream and a Coke Float. Delicious
