We came for their Happy Hour, and Driftwood truly stands out from other restaurants. The difference between a craft cocktail and a basic mixed drink is exactly what sets them apart.

Their Mother of Dragons is hands down the BEST cocktail I’ve ever had. They make the dragon fruit juice fresh, strain it, and finish it with black volcanic salt around the rim, topped with a slice of dragon fruit for presentation. Such a nice touch.

The service was excellent—attentive without being overbearing.

The sweet and sour cauliflower was our favorite appetizer. The sauce was creative and clearly made in-house, not your typical out-of-the-bottle version. I really appreciate the intentional effort they put into their recipes. My husband loves the beef tartar. He has ordered it off the regular menu as well as the HH but both portions are so small.

It’s not a cheap place to eat (we’ve been here several times for dinner), but the quality and ambience make it worthwhile. We will be back soon to try their Sunday Fried Chicken Dinner.

Driftwood offers a great variety of seating options, the bar area, indoors and out on their inviting patio, which makes it an easy choice whether you’re looking for a cozy meal or a more open, relaxed vibe.

Service, however, was a bit hit or miss. Our waitress seemed to disappear for much of the evening and never mentioned the specials, which was disappointing. Meanwhile, the waiter attending the table next to us provided above-and-beyond service, making the contrast hard to ignore.

We ordered the Tilefish and the shrimp and grits, both were well-prepared and flavorful. Heads up the sauce is very heavy on the grits. The sauce was amazing that was served with the Tilefish fish. The portion sizes were very generous and easily large enough to share, which added solid value to the meal.

We had never been here before. We probably passed by here 100+ times but did not know there was a restaurant here. Well … we’re glad we finally decided to go here. The food was more than wonderful – as was the service. We sat outside which was nice. We ordered a series of small plates which suited us perfectly. The sweet and sour cauliflower was exceptional as was the ceviche. We also had Steak Tartar which was interesting the way it was served in onion type boats. Most of us had adult beverages from the Happy Hour menu but I had the Smoregasm which I utilized to turn into a laugh inducing wordsmithed twist when I said “I would like an orgasm.” Almost as funny as when I said (later) “I would like another orgasm please.” Besides a great laugh inducing moment – the Smoregasm was delicious and beyond. All in all a very positive experience and we will be back.

This restaurant was absolutely phenomenal! The drinks were amazing — perfectly crafted and full of flavor. The bartender was passionate, thoughtful, and clearly takes pride in what they do, which made the experience even more special.
The food was outstanding. I literally ate every crumb on my plate! The fried rice was especially unique — unlike anything I’ve had before — and every dish was beautifully balanced in flavor and presentation. You can tell a lot of care goes into each detail.
Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Warm lighting for an excellent date night. Ambience hits the spot. Driftwood delivers on every level. I ordered a short rib, local wahoo, and a coffee and a date cake. Every dish delivered. They actually state where the fish and meats are coming from which is super cool. The uniqueness of each dish is apparent from a quick gander at the menu. The chef is meticulous and creative. I had such a wonderful time here from start to finish. Everything was a ten. I finished with their newest special dessert and a coffee. I typically hate restaurant coffee but theirs was balanced and exotic. It was the perfect finish to an a meal with unmatched attention to detail.

I will be back 1000 times. Thank you chef. Lots of love to you and your team!

I had visited this establishment for the first time this evening and was surprised. I’ve been told on countless occasions how excellent the food was. I will not say that the food wasn’t good, it was just a few dishes lacked on the delivery it promises. The fish & chips barely had a whisper of carribean flavor, although it was properly cooked. I won’t complain about the portion size because it seems pointless, but it’s definitely more appetizer size then full meal. The Papillon mocktail was to die for, and contained all the tropical flavor I had been looking for. The deals during happy hour were great, and I will definitely return for those. The beef on the burger was so tender, I didn’t realize I could have beef that exquisite on this side of the coast, as though it had been blessed by the butcher. And while, I understand the unique twists and add ons that give food that special touch, sweet potato definitely does not need to be in honey mustard that accompanies the pickles as it gives it a paste like texture. Nevertheless, for the top tier friendly staff, the atmosphere and the sweet and sour cauliflower, this place definitely deserves attention. Oh, and the warm date cake was the underdog that defied expectations. Although that dessert was not reccomended to me, it was what saved this palette from heartbreak. Had I decided to go on the waiters dessert recommendation, I would’ve been utterly disappointed, and sent it back for a different one altogether. Nonetheless, I had such a wonderful experience and I’m sure everyone who visits here will say so too.

My husband and I’s original plan for Valentine’s Day did not end up working out, so we happened to drive by Driftwood and thought maybe we’d get lucky to get a table without a reservation since it was still early in the day.

The host was so kind and understanding – he was able to squeeze us in before the busy dinner rush and we were really grateful for it! We had such a lovely dinner and the drinks we ordered were delicious as well. Our server Cisco was so knowledgeable on the menu and really made us feel welcome without rushing us through our dinner. Everything was amazing but the Birria empanadas were the unexpected star of the night. The filling was flavorful, the dough was crisp, and the sauce paired with it was a cherry on top.

We know Valentine’s Day is a chaotic day for the service industry and we were pleasantly surprised at how Driftwood was able to accommodate us last second. We’ll definitely be back!

Our first time at Driftwood after driving past it so many times and I can’t believe we waited so long to try this place!

The setting is intimate and welcoming, with both indoor and outdoor seating. It’s the kind of place where neighboring tables say hello and might even inspire your food and drink choices, which I love.

The cocktails are excellent. Fairly priced, high quality, and thoughtfully made.

Instead of ordering separate entrees, my husband and I opted for a few small plates: the steak tartare, sweet and sour cauliflower, and smoked heritage pork jowl fried rice. Everything was delicious, but the standout was without question the steak tartare. It was unlike any I’ve had before. The beer-battered smoked onion petals added a perfectly light crunch that elevated the dish.

We were so impressed by both the food and the service. Zero complaints. Can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu especially the small plates and some of the larger dishes too.
