I really enjoyed the Philly cheesesteak from Drifters Saloon. It wasn’t greasy at all and the meat was tender. Fries and onion rings were really good too. I would recommend this cheesesteak as one of the best in town. The food is delicious and don’t pass on the free popcorn. Yum! Staff was attentive and kept the drinks coming. The owner also stopped by our table on our visit and when I asked where she was from (there were Penn State and Eagles flags hanging) We found out we went to the same high school just different graduating years. What a small world. Highly recommend! The place is also very clean!

Love, love, love this bar! From the moment you walk in you feel like family and welcome. The bar is always super clean and was decorated so cool over the different holidays! Great place to watch football and the food is always on point! You can’t beat the prices & quality. The daily specials make me never want to cook! The owner Laci is very present and hands on and the bartenders are all amazing! Vibe checks 100%. Something for everyone! Very active in supporting our community too! If you haven’t been in the last year come check them out! This will become your new spot!! No cigarettes & they’ve done sooo much work! Love every thing about this bar!

Could be the best hamburger ever. Ordered the Hangover and it was prepared perfectly… Egg, cheese, onions etc it was perfect…a work of art. The fries were perfect, not soggy not greasy. Also ordered a Caesar salad that was also perfect.
Definitely the best burger in Myrtle and can’t wait to return. Also they have great daily specials like Half off burgers, Wing and beer deals.

Delicious food in a clean comfortable atmosphere. The chessesteak is the best in Myrtle Beach IMO. Friendly staff with fast ticket times. I look forward to stopping in to try more of the menu.

First off everyone was very nice and friendly. We went on Valentines Day for lunch. We got right in and our order was taken soon after.
Fried Shrimp Basket $14.99: Hand breaded, not oily, these were DELICIOUS! Fries and sauces (tarter and cocktail) were house made and perfect. The coleslaw was textually interesting. It’s grated very small, so you get a different mouthfeel from traditional coleslaw. It was good.
The Real Philly Cheesesteak $14.99: Shaved ribeye was tender and well seasoned. Even though it’s not a French dip, some Au Jus would take this sandwich to a much higher level. The waffle fries were good. Ranch was superb!!!
The set up is a little weird, essentially two rooms shotgun style. First room has a couple pool tables several tables and a bar, with lots of bar seating. The second room is set up roughly the same, minus the pool tables. All the tables are high top.
They have affordable daily specials on food and drinks. Happy hour too. Check out my photos. Will DEFINITELY go back, but maybe not with my disabled Mom, the high top tables are an issue for some people for sure.
I did not see the whole back room so I will edit this review if any corrections need to be made after my next visit. Go try it out!

We love this place! The new owner has really made it one of our favorite sports bars. The food is great and the staff makes you feel like family. Best chicken tenders and macaroni salad in MB! Don’t miss this one during football season – really fun! Jessica, Matt, Chrissy, Melanie – great bartenders!

Krissy, Morgan, Q….all are great people and fantastic hosts for a game a football, or a bite to eat….the Philly is a must try!
Not what I would consider a tourist bar, but more of the “locals” with a bar owner oasis even other bar owners!
I highly suggest trying it out, even just once but encourage you to eat and drink and spend some good quality time there. They do get very busy at times, so be patient and respectful!
You might thank me later, but go and experience a “locals” bar and atmosphere. And TIP them well!

I am from out of town and when i go to SC, this is where i try to make a stop. Awesome atmosphere with games and great music. I hear the football Sunday’s are the best! The drinks are good, the food is amazing. If i was a local, I’d be here all the time!

Hadn’t had anything on the menu wasn’t awesome. Bartenders will keep you hydrated. The bar is clean and. Big game days are the best with friendly rivalries. Pool tables and other games available. Really an all round good bar to relax and have fun an antagonize the Bartenders.

Can’t say enough good things about Drifter’s. The new owner has improved the menu so much! Everything we’ve had there has been nothing short of spectacular! Highly recommend The Philly (California Style) and the wings. You can’t beat the prices for the amazing quality of food you’re getting.
The atmosphere and staff are all so welcoming. You’ll feel like a local in no time even if you’re not. I also love their Christmas decor!!!
