Drive thru only! OK, so I’m trying it out for the first time. I’ve heard it’s like or better than in and out. Let me say in MY Opinion, it’s very much like in and out, but it’s definitely not better. The best part is the burger, which is great and dam near close to in and out, but the freshness and quality is a bit lacking with my one experience. The French fries were not good at all. They tasted like they were cooked in old oil or lard with a bad and overwhelming aftertaste. I tried the strawberry shake, and it was OK but lacked flavor. The prices are a bit more expensive than in n out, and I still prefer the double double and animal style fries. Also, the dining room being closed sucks obviously…
Overall, I still recommend giving them a try because you will like it and possibly love it!

First time my husband and I stopped here. We kept hearing good things about Drifter’s so decided to give it a go. We both ordered cheeseburgers wild side, French fries and Diet Pepsi. The building was closed at the time so we had no option but to use the drive thru. The line was long but really… it didn’t take too long to get through the line.

First impression, hamburger was very delicious, reminded me of McDonald’s with their thin patties and skinny French fries. Not crazy about the fries but some people do like skinny fries. They weren’t overly salted which was good.

We didn’t feel full off the single patty and French fries so we went back through the drive thru (much shorter this time) and ordered a regular vanilla and strawberry shake. They were a bit tough to suck through the straws but as it melted it got easier. Both of us tried each others and agreed they both tasted the exact same, only mine was pink (strawberry).

I do appreciate the meal was a fair price. $9.85 for the cheeseburger combo. $3.79 for regular shake.

Overall, it was a good littler burger joint. Not my first choice but still good if in the neighborhood.

My first time here. I read the reviews while sitting in line so some of my comments are because of them.

Was a bit taken aback by the fact that I couldn’t go in at first, but, if thats their thing, then I can adapt. There were at least 6 cars ahead of me, but I didn’t feel I was in line that long. The girl that took my order was pleasant as was the boy at the window. The price seemed about average if not less than. My burger was hot when handed to me.

As for the food, I chose to not have the house sauce (don’t know whats in it), or lettuce. Personally I prefer mustard and pickles on my burger but, hey, we all have our own tastes. They were nice about my choices and I brought it home and added my stuff. I will say the tomato was overly ripe and mostly liquid and I certainly wouldn’t call the onions grilled. I honestly didn’t notice anything special about this burger to rave about it, nor come back for, but it is definitely better than the last place I tried (Freddy’s).

Overall – food in my gut without breaking the bank.

Worst meal and service I’ve had in a very long time. I get off work at 8pm so I understand showing up close to an hour before closing time but there is no excuse for how old my food is, and how long I had to sit in front of the drive thru speaker before anyone even acknowledged I was there. My food looks completely different from the other reviews. My fries are stale and rubbery, the patty is so dry and old that the cheese didn’t even melt, and my sweet tea is sour. I ordered two drinks and two shakes and got one drink and one shake. I guess the only time to go is the afternoon, but I will never be coming back to try. The food will be tossed, and my money is wasted. I’ve been disappointed by restaurants many times, things happen, but not very often do I make bad reviews on my food. This was a very upsetting experience to say the least.

Pros: I got the double burger and it was delicious and hot. Comparable to In-n-Out burger. I’d be back for the food as it definitely was good. OK price ($6.70 for just a double burger, no fries, no drink, that’s way smaller than In-Out Double-Double Burger). The employees are friendly.
Cons: Only drive through. LONG wait time sitting in the car and burning all that gasoline. On Tuesday around 6:30 pm the wait time was 25 minutes. The place is not attractive looking, looks beat up.
I won’t be back unless I’m already in the area and there’s no more than 2-3 cars ahead.

Absolutely delicious. Tastes like a homemade burger in the best way possible. It is definitely fast food, meaning the line was long, but they were incredibly fast! I’ve never had service this fast or fresh at any other “fast food” restaurant. It was far far better than In-N-Out. Their fries are like McDonald’s style fries, but better! This will definitely be our go to place for a burger from here on out!

Pretty good, comparable to In N out and way better than any other chain burger place. Would have liked to eat inside but it’s drive thru only. My kid said it was the best strawberry milkshake ever. Fries needed salt, would come back if the line isn’t too long.

Very similar to in n out. Fries are by far way better than in n out. The burger is very good but I prefer in n outs burger over drifters. Good customer service

First time I have been to Drifter’s! Wow burger’s are awesome, taste good, large portion of fries. Definitely better than in and Out! I will have to visit often. Also switched out a chocolate shake in my combo and was only charged $1 more. Anywhere else would have been $2-$3 more! Yummy
Had Wild style double cheeseburger combo!

The buger was delicious! My husband got the grilled chicken and didn’t really like it though. If you go here I recommend sticking to the burger. I should have gotten a double patty because there wasn’t much burger to topping ratio but it was delicious either way.
