Had lunch here at the suggestion of a longtime resident. The friendliness of the staff was abundant, especially our great server, Julia! As a vegetarian, I was pleased to see I had a few choices, and the hippie wrap was delicious, as well as my skinny spicy margarita. My husband enjoyed his shrimp tacos. The old bay chips are yummy! We sat outside in a shady spot away enough from the live music to enjoy it but not be overwhelmed by it. Great spot!

2.5 hrs to receive food. Arrived at 5:02pm and left at 7:46pm. I have never experienced this even in New York, Atlanta, anywhere on the east coast. I had my family there so I asked after 2 hours how long would it be. The server said I’ll find out then left for 20 minutes, came back with all our food in to go boxes after waiting. An overall strange experience. Food was cold…I’m almost thinking the waiter truly forgot about us. No paper towels, silverware, and 25 minutes before drinks served.

We went on a busy and beautiful Sunday afternoon.
Our server was so sweet and helpful, and made sure my son’s food came out quickly for him (I ordered his food w everyone’s drinks.)
I had the cheesesteak sandwich as a wrap with the house chips. 10/10! The shaved steak is really delicious.
My husband had the Havana and it looked amazing as well!
If you’re looking for good food, beer or cocktails, live music, and a great view you gotta check this place out.

Drifters is an awesome place to eat. Atmospheres 100%. We arrived there by boat. Very nice attendance on the dock helped us Park our boat. First people that you meet at the hostess are super friendly and the service was impeccable. The food was top-notch. Highly recommend.

The food is unseasoned and soggy, “silverware” is all plastic. The pretzels they serve with the “crab dip” (lukewarm crab flavored dip with cold, shredded cheese layered on top) are grey in the center; the half lb prime burger is unseasoned and dry; the taco salad consists of chopped up burger (NOT ground beef, very clearly a cooked burger that has been cut up), soggy lettuce, semi-burnt corn, and diced tomatoes that i can only guess is intended to pass as salsa. only group seating option is a single tall and skinny bar table, which makes it next to impossible to manage the various paper plates and plastic trays meant to serve as dishware.
This place makes me wish I hadn’t eaten my burger, and instead saved room for the bowl of cereal I plan to eat at home, which will undoubtedly be a better dining experience. At least I’ll have a real spoon.

LOVE IT! We vacationed on the lake for the first time and, after much research in advance, made Drifters our very first stop when getting into town! Perfect way to kick off the vacation!! Very cool, fun, relaxed, inviting atmosphere and people. They have a great outdoor seating area that welcomes your furry friends and a great menu. We opted to sit inside on this very hot day after traveling several hours. Very friendly local customers and wait staff! Fun time and excellent food!! Highly recommended! Mahi Mahi tacos pictured.

I had a wonderful experience with my friends hanging while on the boat. We were able to dock and walk up to the restaurant. Great bar food and cocktails. Fun vibes! Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. I would definitely go back and order the quesadillas the next time we hangout on the lake!

Love this place. Food is good with a wide variety. Atmosphere is top notch with indoor and outdoor seating. Accessible by boat. Wait staff are normally on top of it even when swamped. Only extended wait times are when really busy it can take awhile to get your food.
