This restaurant has a lot of good things going for it. Firstly, the food is delicious. My husband had the fish and chips and I had the salmon salad and both were delicious. Secondly, it is very dog friendly. There is a covered area that is very comfortable that allows dogs and they were kind enough to bring our dog some water. That is always a plus. Thirdly, it is quite near Skidaway Island State Park where we were staying, so it was very convenient for us. Lastly, our server did a fantastic job taking care of us.

I went to Driftaway with a few of my coworkers to eat and hangout. The service that we received walking in to sitting down at our table was amazing. I’m not sure of the man’s name at the door, but he ensured that me and my coworkers were accommodated with our large group. I wasn’t too crazy about the menu so I ordered their calamari and some fries. The food was ok in my opinion. The calamari was crunchy more than anything so I couldn’t really enjoy its texture. I did try a few of the other appetizers and food that my coworker’s had and it wasn’t bad. I enjoyed the fried green tomatoes and their blue chips along with their breaded fried fish.

This place is a gem! Best food we had on our Savannah trip. Very creative owner with all the amazing decor. We even had a cat sit with us on the back deck! Oh, and we saw a loggerhead at the base of their outdoor fountain!

This is a very popular restaurant. The food was fantastic. We had a party of six, and three of us had the blueberry salmon that was to die for. Another had the mahi-mahi, which was very tasty, and the last person had a burger, that she said was delicious.
We sat outside, which was nice and gave us plenty of room for our party.
The wait staff were very helpful and informative in explaining the different choices on the menu.
Parking can be tight and you may need to park on the roadside.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Best fish & chips in Savannah, according to my partner who has grown up here.
Delicious seafood, incredible view of the back area from the dining room, including the wildlife that comes to eat the birdseed outside.
We were able to get a table with no wait on a Friday night. There was live music on the front patio, but we ate inside (we should have requested the back patio instead, but we didn’t know better).

Outstanding food, awesome service and great atmosphere. Our server Shannon did great!!!! Kept drinks full and easy to ask menu questions to. Our table did tacos; salmon tacos, firecracker tacos, blackened fish tacos and chicken bacon tacos. The firecracker tacos by far were the best. Would recommend. The others were excellent also, but the firecracker just was amazing. The atmosphere was great and cool after walking around wormsloe. Would recommend !!!!!!

Wow wow wow. This place made us feel so LOVED. My husband and I were traveling through the area with our dog, Shadow. Desperate for a good place to eat where our dog could be with us (rather than in the car), Google led us to this gem. Our server Michelle was wonderful and took great care of us. She even brought Shadow his own bowl of ICE water. The manager Joe stopped by our table to check in (and talk to Shadow). He ended up sitting with us and chatting about the area for a bit. The owners Robyn and Michelle stopped by as well! Miss Michelle gave Shadow some bacon while Robyn recommended a local pet store for us to visit before leaving the area. My Cuban sandwich was delicious! I just can’t say enough about the amazing people running this restaurant. Highly recommend!

If you are going to Savannah- make this a part of your trip. The waitstaff were attentive and knowledgeable. But the food- next level. We had the lemon blueberry salmon (Thanksgiving on your plate!) and pastafarrian (a medley of flavors). The perfect meal!
