My mom and i stopped in today for lunch.

We had calamari to start which was excellent! The breading was light and it had breaded and fried banana peppers which really brought a nice vinegar acidity to the dish. The grilled lemon was a really nice touch as well!

My mom ordered tuna off of the main menu. It was plated beautifully and she almost ate all of it. We go out to eat regularly when she is in town and she is often foisting off her leftovers on me. Today that did not happen!

I ordered blackened swordfish off of the main menu. I cleaned my plate.

We both agreed we will be coming back.

Coffee after lunch was black and quite good.

We each had dessert. Mango creme brulee and apple cake.

Please keep doing what you do! Bristol needs good restaurants!

I can’t believe I waited so long to try this restaurant. We were greeted immediately when we walked in and then once seated our table Brendan, the friendliest server in the world, came over and greeted us again and asked if he could get something to drink coffee, water, tea or cocktails?
We went for lunch the day before Valentine’s Day, so everything was decorated with hearts and there was a rose on the table, although perhaps they have them there all the time… Which was a nice touch either way.
It was so difficult to figure out what to try. Everything on the menu sounded good. We ended up ordering from the lunch menu, which had super reasonable prices for lunch time dining!! I just wish they had more fish options from the regular menu available in lunch portions as well.
The lobster bisque is the best I’ve ever had, and I would go back just to get that. My friend said she would bathe in it…. And she’s not wrong! I also tried the crab cake sliders. I ended up taking off half of the bun so that I could really taste the crab cake, and it was fantastic!!
Brendan also told us about their happy hour specials where they have discounted appetizers, and that totally convinced us to come back in again soon and work our way through some of the apps!!! Of course they also have drink specials and a selection of craft beer as well. The decor is nautical and totally on point with their brand. The restaurant was super clean and everything felt inviting.
We were offered dessert, but were absolutely stuffed from lunch and couldn’t do it this time around… But we saw some dessert coming out of the kitchen that was absolutely mouth-watering ! My friend got the coffee and said it was delicious, which doesn’t always happen in a restaurant at lunch. Brendan said he had just brewed it so it was super fresh!
Again, super disappointed in myself for not checking this place out sooner, but now that I’ve been there it will become a regular spot in my dining out rotation!
* Worth noting that there are tons of non-seafood options on the menu, so don’t stay away because you don’t like see food. All prices looked super reasonable, and I need to mention that they have a surf and turf, mac and cheese that’s first on my list to try when I go back!!!!!

I’ve been hearing for a while that this place has top notch cocktails and bar food. We were definitely not disappointed! Our waitress/bartender Jocelyn was amazing… excellent service and drinks. Justin (bar manager) was great as well. Our favorites were the Manhattan with candied bacon and the Old Fashioned with smoke and vanilla coffee ice cubes! The burger was perfectly done and the battered fries were nice and crispy. Beet salad with salmon was excellent. Homemade key lime pie was delicious. Highly recommend this spot. Will definitely be adding this to our rotation!

P.S. they have $3 tacos on Thursdays and great drink/food specials on Eagles/Phillies game nights!

First time at Drift in Bristol and I was really impressed. The vibe was great, with both indoor and outdoor seating. I sat at the bar and the service was excellent. Tried the calamari with banana peppers and it was phenomenal, then had the Island Burger with teriyaki, pineapple, and bacon — super good. In and out in under 40 minutes. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a solid spot to eat.

Have been wanting to go here for awhile now and it did not disappointed. Went for lunch with a friend and it was purely delightful and delicious. Service was attentive and friendly, drinks were flavorful and attractive, and the food was next level and plentiful. Will definitely be back to try more items on the menu and seasonal drinks.

Went to Drift on Valentine’s Day for an early dinner/late lunch and was amazed at how well everything went. We sat at the bar, and even though the bartender was clearly swamped, she was still attentive and made sure we got our food and drinks properly and on time.

The Lobster Bisque Pizza was outstanding, and I really enjoyed the truffle fries. Overall, it was a great experience, and I can’t wait to go back again.

What a pleasant surprise eating at this restaurant. It’s ecletic with a menu that serves all types of food, some very sophisticated. We ordered Stuffed Salmon, burgers, salads and Sauteed Crab Cake. We also appetizers, Bruscetta, French Onion Soup and Roasted Baby Carrots. Everything was fantastic and made with fresh ingredients. Portion sizes were huge and serviced hot. Our stomachs were full but our mouths wanted more. We didn’t have room for dessert. There’s a full-service bar. This restaurant has a welcoming vibe and service is fantastic. With such a diverse menu, you’ll be able to find anything you like for whatever mood you’re in. Prices are fair. The restaurant is very clean and so are the bathrooms. Parking can be tricky, with on-street parking with meters. There is a parking lot within a 2 minute walk. I strongly recommend and will return.

Loved it here!! First timing coming to this area and although we didn’t get any of the main dishes, still phenomenal. The Cowboy Sprouts were great!

This was my second time here, and unfortunately the food was pretty mediocre again. It wasn’t terrible, but it just didn’t stand out or feel worth the price. That being said, the cocktails are really good and the service has been great both times. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is nice. I just wish the food matched the drinks and service a little better.

Drift on Mill is a gem right in the heart of Bristol’s Mill Street. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between upscale and comfortable — polished enough for a date night, but relaxed enough to enjoy with friends.
The food is clearly crafted with care. The seafood is fresh, the flavors are well thought out, and the presentation shows attention to detail without feeling overdone. Pair that with a solid cocktail menu, and it makes for a full experience rather than just a meal.
Service is attentive without hovering, and the overall vibe feels welcoming and energetic. Drift on Mill brings a big-city dining feel to a small historic town — and it does it well.
Definitely a spot worth revisiting.
