Drift is located inside the Hutchinson resort and spa located right on the beach. It’s great to take a walk after you eat and come back for dessert. It’s decorated beautifully for the season. I have enjoyed brunch and dinner here. On Sunday they have a 30 minutes break between 11 and 11:30 so plan accordingly. If you decide to eat outside, you should know your cocktails will be served in plastic. Just to keep us safe as there is a pool. The pasta is made in house. Absolutely delicious . The spinach and artichoke appetizer is sooo good. I have been here a few times and will be back.

Very nice place. The service was great! Gio was very attentive for him being so busy. We started with drinks, which were made well. Our appetizer was the Philly cheese steak egg rolls. They were tasty but a bit cold inside. We then ordered the meatballs. They were okay but a not warm. The sauce had no hotness to it so we sent the meatballs back. For our entrées we had the Bolenese and the Tuscan chicken. Both were delicious and HOT!!. I would eat there again. I loved the view of the ocean from our table. The chocolate lava cake was PHENOMENAL. Everyone was very kind.

We had the pleasure of staying at this lovely resort and dining here several times during our stay. The food and the service at Drift was amazing. The food was incredible as well as the service. I would highly recommend asking for Lee Lee or Navive. They are the best! The view is gorgeous.

Absolutely delicious we had poke apps, wedge salad,grouper,pork belly carbonara,pork chop and cheese cake! Everything was absolutely delicious except the pork chop was over smoked that’s all you could taste. Giovanni our waiter was awesome extremely knowledgeable helpful and very courteous I highly recommend this place and the atmosphere is to die for unbelievable!!!!

What a delightful place to dine and soak in the ambiance of the beach. The gentle sound of the waves creates a truly relaxing atmosphere for a meal. It’s wonderful to have such a beautiful setting to enjoy delicious food and company. The sun and sand add a special charm to the entire experience. This is certainly a memorable spot for a perfect getaway.

Don’t pass on this spot! My husband picked this restaurant from a quick Google search. The resort is beautiful. The restaurant is on the second floor and looks out to the beach and is set around the pool. Beautiful set up. I started with the lobster bisque, which is a favorite dish of mine. This was certainly one of the best I’ve had. We both had tacos and closed the meal with the vanilla creme brulee. We will certainly be back.

I have eaten at Drift for many years and it was actually one of my favorite restaurants, even though it is about 45 minutes away, until this year. I made a reservation well in advance and requested a table with an ocean view to celebrate my mother’s 92nd birthday. I arrived early and checked with the hostesses who assured me that the request was in the notes of the reservation and that they had a good table for me. Just about 5 minutes later we arrived to be seated and they walked us to the back room and placed us at a table not at the window but further back behind a large post which completely blocked the view. When I questioned the hostess she said they don’t necessarily honor requests for specific tables. I stated that there seemed to be plenty of ocean view tables available (we had an early reservation so that we could enjoy the view) and she said that people had reservations for them. When I mentioned that I did too she was very nasty and said that we could sit where she told us or leave and go elsewhere. We really had no choice but to stay and eat. And while the food was good and our waitress was excellent, the evening was not special and certainly not worth the long drive. That hostess needs to understand that she is the first representative of the restaurant and you don’t get a second chance to make a first impression. And the restaurant needs to understand that she does not represent them well. I will not go back!

today TARIQ handled our visit He was 10+. and the chicken Sammy and bread were wow so good and the price very reasonable we visit semi regularly Tariq was a pleasure pictures worth a 1000 words Ooooo and the setting very nice even on a windy day it was pleasant

i have to say, i think this was the first true A+ dining experience i’ve ever had. Im from NY where excellent food is the standard, but service and ambience can be hard to find perfection. This place covers it all. The hotel it’s in is beautiful and very clean and well run. The restaurant staff is very friendly and accomodating. The views are unreal. I tried to find “oceanfront” dining all over the treasure coast and was pretty much disappointed every time. Usually its “near” the beach, or overlooking the bay. This is a true ocean view and its phenomenal. The food was excellent. The dessert and coffee also excellent. The pacing was perfect. From start to finish- it could not have been any better. It was a great way to spend my last night in town.
