My friends and I went to Drift last week and had such a great experience! The vibes were unmatched—a perfect blend of upscale and relaxed. We sat at the bar, and Aaron, the bartender, took excellent care of us. He was kind, attentive, and gave thoughtful recommendations. He really made the night memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

First time at Drift In and won’t be my last. The service was great, and the staff was attentive and friendly. The cocktail was delicious and wound up having two. The shrimp was good, and I love both sauces that came with the shrimp.
The fried chicken sandwich and fries were cooked and tasted perfect . I wanted to try some other menu items. However, I was full between both drinks and food. Much love to the staff and the manager Jason for making my experience at Drift In memorable.

Made reservations for a sunny Sunday brunch. Son had the fish and chips, boyfriend had the chicken sandwich, I ordered tots and shrimp and oysters to share. Everything was delicious. I would come back and destroy some more west coast oysters. The caviar tots are my favorite thing to order. They used to have caviar hash, but it’s really the same. Anyway, they seem shortstaffed, but we didn’t have anywhere to be so it was fine. It does get chilly in the shade and the chairs are slated so if you are a woman wearing short shorts or a short dress/skirt, the back of your thighs will have slated imprints. I brought an oversized towel to sit on/cover my legs so I was good.

Waterfront restaurant from the Grand Banks team but closer to Christopher and the west side highway. All the food was quite solid that we had from both the brunch and regular menu. Great for people watching. Caviar trout roe and hash browns were my fav.

Went to drift in for dinner and to watch sunset. It’s a really nice spot, definitely recommend heading down. I’d probably book ahead, they get pretty busy in the early evening and you need to be relatively lucky to get a spot at the bar. We ordered caviar hash and fish tacos and they were tasty. The cocktails were also good, not too sweet and well balanced. Will definitely be back.

It’s always a wonderful experience dining here. The food is beyond incredible, the drinks are outstanding (and with a great pour, for the price too). My waiter or waitress is always fantastic and so accommodating, especially with dogs in tow with our party.
I wish I remembered tonight’s waitress— she was FANTASTIC. Please reward her somehow. She was a dog lover of ”Hershey”— even ran after us to pet the puppy goodbye. Absolute gem.

Our waiter was pleasant but when we asked about various drinks and food, he said he had only tried a few so he had no guidance beyond what was popular.
We ordered a few if the signature drinks. My wife really enjoyed hers (watermelon cocktail), mine was just ok (spiced drink).
The oysters were great, the champagne oysters were our favorite.
The lobster roll was tiny and the ‘potato bun’ was nothing more than a grocery store hamburger bun. When asked he said it was made with flour and not potato as it should be. Maybe a failure on the servers part and it was made from potatoes but we didn’t risk it and sent it back.
Ordered the fish and chips. It was fine but not worth the price.
Ambiance was great as was the view. Be aware the washroom is the public washroom for the pier. I would go back but only to nibble and sip vs going hungry.

After walking by this place a million times, I finally decided to stop by with some friends who were visiting. What on earth has taken me so long!! This place is so great and one of the best spots to catch a quick bite or drink on the west side during a nice day. The cocktails are funky and amazing. The oysters are phenomenal and some of the best I’ve had in the city… a pleasant surprise. I’ll be back for sure.

Found this place on a whim after walking around. The waitress was amazing offering us personalized drinks and suggestions. We had a feast. The tomato watermelon salad hit the spot.
The only thing I’m not of a fan of is the Big Pickle entree ? I like pickles but that is just a Big Pickle like just slapped on the plate like what? It’s HUGE and it really is just a pickle. Shouldn’t have ordered it but then again. Is it popular? Do people like this. I’ll stop talking about the pickle now.
