I am a mac+cheese connoisseur. That being said it was good. Not the best i have had or worst. My critic is that it needs more sauce and maybe less salt.
Baked beans are made with ground turkey of which I assume was smoked and added to the beans for a more smokey flavor. All said and done the meal was enjoyable and hit the spot for my need of some smokey food.
I’m not exaggerating when I say my taste buds are still celebrating! I finally got to try Brew’s Barbecue, and it was an absolutely insane, mind-blowingly delicious experience.
From the first bite, I knew this
wasn’t just ordinary BBQ. The meat was phenomenally tender, practically melting in my mouth, and packed with an incredible, smoky flavor that had been perfected over hours. The sauc were the perfect complement each one unique and bursting with flavor, from the tangy and sweet to the rich and spicy.
The atmosphere was fantastic, and the smell alone is enough to make your mouth water from a block away. But the real star is, without a doubt, the food. It’s clear that a ton of passion and skill goes into every single plate.
This isn’t just a meal; it’s an event. I am already planning my next visit and will be dragging all my friends with me. You owe it to yourself to try Brew’s Barbecue at least once -but consider yourself warned, you’ll be dreaming about it and planning your return before you’ve even finished your plate!
Do yourself a favor and GO.You can thank me later!

Only open on Friday/Saturdays from 12-7 it is worth stopping by if you are in the area. The menu is real simple: Ribs, Chicken, and Hot Links with 4 sides to choose from, Mac & Cheese, Baked Beans, Green Beans, and Potato Salad.
I went on a Saturday afternoon and ordered the 2 Way which I chose the ribs & chicken along with the mac & cheese and green beans as my sides. Also added a couple of links to the order. I was told that all the sides were homemade except the potato salad which was still supposed to be good.
This is strictly a carry-out only operation just so you know.
Ribs 4/5
Chicken 4/5
Links 3.5/5
Mac & cheese 4/5
Green beans 4/5
The ribs and chicken were cooked very well and the rub used was good. Nice smoky flavor that only charcoal can give you. There were some bottled BBQ sauces available on the table but I forgot to add some before I left. No matter it wasn’t needed since the rub was good. Although it wasn’t the best BBQ I’ve had it is good and I would recommend trying Drew’s BBQ out sometime
Anyway, onto the food. I lived in North Carolina for a few years a while ago, and this BBQ stacks up with the stuff I had out there. Simply outstanding. Loved the vinegar based rub/marinade on the chicken. Baked beans had a great sweet/tangy flavor and the mac and cheese was on point. Would love to hit this place up again at some point.
I would recommend you check it out. The Bay Area has sparsely accessible BBQ, and it’s usually overpriced when you find it. I think George puts the best value out there in BBQ that I’ve seen in the Bay Area, and it punches in the same weight class as some great BBQ I’ve had in North Carolina.
Hot link plate is on point ☝
