Cashier acted like I was invisible !!! I ask for small or thin-end’s, like baby back ribs, and this is what I got !!! Nothing but fat !!! Not even cooked all the way !!!” I guess to go orders get the stuff they can’t sell to the people that dine in !!! ???

I have not been to a restaurant in a very long time that has the service this place has. Everyone that came in the door was acknowledged even when they were doing something. They took the time to look up and greet them from where they were. The servers there today were so nice and fast with everything. The food was awesome! I would have still gave it a 5 just for how we were treated today even if the food wouldn’t have been as good as it was.

I ordered the rib plate with Mac and cheese and potato salad with a side of banana pudding. The ribs were trash. Absolutely no seasoning and low key tough. Mac and cheese was stouffer Mac and cheese. Banana pudding had maybe 2 slices of banana in it. The rest was crumbled up cookie. I had better barbecue in Birmingham.

Cool atmosphere at Dreamland! Waitress, JoHanna, was extra sweet and very helpful! She was very pleasant, sharing stories and history of the place. All foods came in a timely manner. They do give you a few slices of regular fresh white bread (odd) and bbq dipping sauce before any of the meal. We had a plate rib tips and pulled pork, which was too dry and hard to chew. No, I didn’t tell the waitress!!! I don’t do that! That’s just ME! Our dog loved it! My husband had a Pulled Pork Sandwich.
The sides were Cole Slaw, Baked Beans, Fried Okra (very good), Fried Green Tomatoes, and Potatoe Salad (My FAVORITE!!!) Oh…..and I can’t forget the Best Banana Pudding in the South! It was freshly made, just like I like it!
The Tea seemed fresh, but…..not to my liking.
The restaurant was clean and full of photos and such from the past. It’s not much to look at from the outside, but go inside to see all the cool stuff! Great music and friendly service! If i get back over that way……it’s 60 miles from where we live……I’ll get some tater salad and nanner pudding to go, along with a couple of t-shirts!

The rib tips and smoked sausage were fantastic. The bbq sauce is vinegary, just a heads up to let you know what sort of BBQ sauce you’re getting. With that said, it’s delicious. Well balanced and you get a hot cup of it when you sit down with white bread.

I rarely visit dreamland but decided to give them a try. I only went for a side of baked beans shortly after opening as a side to an entree I already had. Once I made it home I opened the beans and was disappointed. First, the beans appeared to have bubbles in them, which was very odd. Second, They looked terrible, like watered-down bean soup. I decided to give it a small taste anyway, and it was by far the worst beans I’ve ever eaten. They tasted like water and beans with little to no flavor. So bad I didn’t swallow one bite but rather threw them out. I thought about returning them but didn’t want to waste my time or gas. I don’t know if this is the standard, but they were horrible. Pics for proof. Never again!

Me and my friends went here last night and we had Brandon as our server. He was so sweet and catered to us very well and I appreciate him being there! We also got our food so quickly and everything was fresh and hot. The food was also SOOO BANGER 10/10. The only thing I didn’t like was the BBQ sauce but it’s just bc I personally prefer sweet BBQ sauces.

Nice employees, clean place, food ok, baked beans taste like can pork and beans with brown sugar, ribs was tough but had a decent taste, Mac & cheese was average, sweet tea was watery, banana pudding was the best thing there! But the prices was outrageous, $80 plus for 3 rib plates, pound of pulled pork & 1 sweet tea! And $20 1 and half pints of banana pudding don’t forget to ADD taxes. And I couldn’t believe they don’t even sell brisket!
