Customer service/hospitality is great: Friendly, checked on us, personable.
Food is still good: the beef and chicken koobideh kabobs were tender, moist and seasoned nicely. The rice was a little dry and wasn’t as buttery as I remembered but still very good.
Prices went up, like every where else and everything else, but I noticed a “processing fee” on the bill. I don’t know/remember if they have always had that and I just noticed it today, tbh. This is before they run the credit card, so I am not sure what that is for and it is 3.75% of the bill, plus taxes. Our bill wasn’t much so I didn’t ask about it but if you have a large party, that may end up being alot, so heads up about that.
For a place charging over $120 for takeout for 2 people, the food and service should be way better. I’ve been a loyal customer, but after this experience and the attitude I got when I called, I’m officially done.
This family-run restaurant, with amazing owners Ben Jr. and Sr., and the best server Denzel, truly allows you to taste the love and quality in every bite.
The appetizers are a must-try, especially the Trio with homemade bread. We asked for seconds, which is made to order.
The hummus is creamy and flavorful, the Shirazi salad is refreshing, and the Mast O Khiar (yogurt & cucumbers) is perfectly balanced.
For entrees, we had the pleasure of experiencing their flavorful custom four-plate combo for my family.
The Beef Koobideh features juicy ground beef skewers cooked over an open fire, paired with flavorful barberry rice.
The boneless chicken is tender and well-marinated, while the Cornish Hen was deliciously seasoned to perfection. Finally, the lamb chops & my absolute fav there, which are marinated in a rich homemade sauce.
Dream Kabob is an exceptional dining experience that showcases the best of Persian cuisine. The warm hospitality, combined with the outstanding food, makes it a standout restaurant in Las Vegas.
From the moment you walk in, the genuine hospitality and warmth of the owner, Behnam, make you feel like a welcomed guest rather than just a customer. That personal touch is rare and sets the tone for the entire experience. The staff are polite, attentive, and professional, providing excellent service throughout.
And then there’s the food absolutely exceptional:
The joojeh kabab is perfectly marinated, juicy, and full of flavor, the mast-o-moosir (yogurt with shallots) is fresh and beautifully balanced,, the doogh is refreshing and authentic,, the rice is aromatic, fluffy, and cooked to perfection.
A true highlight and something that makes Dream Kanal stand out is the tea.
The special tea with Behnam’s own unique formula has a distinctive, unforgettable flavor and feels like the signature of the restaurant. It’s not just tea; it’s an experience and a must-try, highly recommended at the highest level for exceptional Persian food, sincere hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere that feels like home, Dream Kanal is a top-tier destination in Las Vegas.
We had Mast O Moosir as our appetizer which did not disappoint. The yogurt and pita bread were so filling and delicious that they could’ve been their own meal!
As our main dishes, we enjoyed the Mix Kabob (chicken and beef combo) and the Shishlik (beef and lamb chops combo). The meats were beyond tender and so richly flavorful!
We finished our wonderful meal with the Baklava that’s topped with the Saffron
Ice Cream. This was a delight to our taste buds and was an amazing end to a beautiful meal!
To summarize, it’s clear that this family puts love in each dish they serve! This restaurant is worth trying and worth visiting regularly!
Regarding the food, it seemed to be a bit low on salt, though I’m not entirely certain if that was due to the dishes themselves or if my taste buds were just off that day. I found myself needing to add quite a bit of salt to all the dishes. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were quite reasonable. Overall, I would definitely return and would recommend it to others.
