We enjoyed a breakfast at Dram Yard on a Sunday morning; they usually have a longer brunch menu on Sundays but they were short staffed so we didn’t get access to that menu. Nonetheless, our breakfast was tasty; everyone praised the flavor. The ambiance is unique, with elements of decor layered together in an artful manner. We all loved our experience there, and the waitress was attentive too. I’d love to return.

My husband and I have been coming here for a couple of years now. Started off with their breakfast, which is 10 out of 10! We are uber picky about our food, especially breakfast. Then we experienced their dinner menu, which is impressive, creative, and put together with such care. You can see it in their careful presentation and taste it in every bite!
The oysters, oh my goodness, they are a salt bomb, clean tasting without any fishiness.
I’ve seen some reviews about the service, and we have never ever experienced anything but kind service. Having owned our own business for more than 20 years, there are some days where you are short staffed. But we’re obviously not coming here for fast food, we’re coming here because it is quality food that never disappoints!
Side note, you can always opt to valet, which is nice since it’s not always easy to find parking downtown.

I love this place. I’ve been twice, once with my family and once for date night. As a family we shared a few entrees and they were all excellent, my kids are pretty adventurous eaters and they all loved the duck. For date night my husband and I did the tasting menu and it was excellent! One of the best plates I ever had was the eggplant curry (Chef if you could send me your curry recipe I would be forever grateful ). The only thing we didn’t care for was the pork loin, but we don’t eat a lot of pork in general. The duck leg though… my husband still talks about how good that was. Phenomenal.
I have one critique and it’s about the chocolate dessert and that you should consider splitting it into two desserts because it’s a little “one note”. They are both delicious on their own but together it’s too much. The torte with an orange sorbet would slam. Just a suggestion:) but we love this place and will always come back.

Food was excellent as was the service. Our server was spot on with timeliness and suggestions. Drinks were varied and fun. If you like a soicy cocktail, try the Ghost Town. Many of the dishes are presentation and taste, so don’t expect to walk away feeling full. The beef tar tar was superb. It was a soft patty with excellent flavor. The little gem salad was like everything else… really tasty.

We had a fantastic dinner last night at Dram Yard!
I started with the Little Gem salad—green goddess, benne seed, and country ham crumb. It was delicious: cold, crisp, beautifully dressed, and generously sized. For my entrée, I had the spaghetti carbonara with crispy guanciale. Honestly, I could have danced on the table I loved it so much!
My husband and friends thoroughly enjoyed their tuna tartare, cheeseburger, and curried sweet potatoes—every dish was a hit.
Our server, Emily, was outstanding—adorable, professional, knowledgeable about the menu, and with a great sense of humor. The kitchen sends dishes out as they’re ready, which we appreciated.
The ambiance is quaint and intimate, with a smallish dining room and a bar front made from old metal mailboxes—such a cool touch. I’ve also been for brunch recently and loved it just as much. Dram Yard offers a smaller, thoughtfully curated menu, and everything we’ve tried has been beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious.

This place can be fancy or casual, it can match your vibe. Good coffee, lovely French omelet. Portions are generous – the French toast, wrap, and biscuits and gravy are shareable. Did not get a cocktail, but was interested in all of them. They looked well crafted. Valet parking!

Nick greeted us cheerfully and valet parked our car. He set the tone for an incredible evening. John, the Bartender, was Awesome and a Master at his Craft. He tailored and concocted incredible drinks tailored to each person in our party of Six. He asked each person their likes and dislikes then went to task creating one of a kind cocktails.
Next time, we will stay longer and enjoy dinner there but I gave three stars to the food anyway. Can’t wait to go back! John and Nick are keepers.

The hostess seated us and later returned with drinks: a classic coffee and a Tiki Latte. While the regular coffee was smooth and satisfying, the Tiki Latte, though creative, could have used a bolder coffee flavor to match its fun name.
We started with the O.G. Breakfast, subbing avocado for bacon – a simple dish with perfectly cooked eggs. The Avocado Toast was a standout, especially with the addition of a poached egg. The unexpected pairing of marmalade and chile crunch created a sweet, spicy, and savory bite we didn’t know we needed. Absolutely delicious!
We also tried the Brunch Wrap Supreme, which, while still good, was our least favorite of the day. A punchier element, like a chipotle cream sauce, could take it to the next level.

The chi late was fabulous, the best in all the land! Something unique would be the duck fat doughnuts, also delicious. The eggs Benedict had a very creative presentation but the taste was the show stopper. What a great experience! Well done.

We had the Spaghetti Carbonana which was very light for a carbonara and delicious, the Wagyu which we didn’t get a picture of cause we devoured it too quickly. Only tip for that one is if you don’t like garlic that much, keep an eye out for larger pieces in the demi. I like garlic so I was perfectly happy with that. We also had the duck breast. For the two entrees, especially the duck breast, the sauces were soooo good and helped the protein sing and the sauce + garnishes were fantastic with the meat. We finished with a cherry cheesecake and the rice pudding. The cherry cheesecake I would absolutely get again. The rice pudding is more of an acquired taste and fascinating, but there were some more solid clumps of rice in it so it’s a maybe on ordering it again for me.
I think we ended up ordering three VICTORIA’S TRIP TO ITALY cocktails. So yummy, so refreshing.
