Service was okay. Felt consistently rushed when it was only use and 3 other tables.
The steak is less of a sirloin and more of a skirt steak from your local Walmart. No way it was anywhere near 6oz. The sushi was pretty fresh and a good temperature. The place was clean nice lighting and the atmosphere was relaxing. But the over all service I have ti give a 3 because the price we paid was no where near the service and food worth. Spent $100 (before tax and tip) and we were sort of disappointed Portions we kind of all over the place and they focus more toward Alcohol which is fine. But that’s not why we were there.

I got the blt tots. Not bad for $15. Didn’t know you would have to put it together though but it worked out ok in the end. I ordered and it was ready within 20 mins, with it being just tots I would expect this. This probably will be one of those once a month or two places I go to for food, I only went here today because I had cravings for tots and theirs was seasoned pretty good I’d say.

I ordered all the sushi items and it wasn’t bad for being American restaurant 🙂 My husband loved the juicy Lucy, fried fish plate was huge and looked good, we are definitely coming back and I would recommend 100%

Dear Management,
I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my recent visit to Drake’s in Clarksville.
Upon arrival, my partner and I were never greeted. The restaurant was not particularly busy at the time, and there were several staff members standing in the bar area, which made the lack of acknowledgment even more concerning. A simple greeting or check-in would have significantly improved the initial experience.
Additionally, I ordered a frozen drink and found that it contained large ice chunks, making it nearly impossible to drink through a straw. When I brought this to the staff’s attention, I was told, “That’s just how our blender does it.” Respectfully, that response was dismissive and unacceptable. If the equipment cannot properly produce a frozen beverage, it should not be offered in that form. Guests should not be expected to accept a substandard product without resolution.
I was also disappointed to notice that the floors under the tables in the bar area were visibly dirty. Cleanliness is a basic expectation, particularly in dining establishments, and this further detracted from the overall experience.
I am sharing this feedback in hopes that it will be taken seriously and addressed internally. Drake’s has a reputation for being a lively and enjoyable place, and this experience did not reflect that standard.
I would appreciate acknowledgment of this concern and information on how it will be addressed moving forward.

I came to this restaurant with a large group of friends and we had a very substandard experience. The table they had us sitting at had barstools and not chairs. We all now have scoliosis which is ridiculous because the actual bar had real chairs. Make it make sense. My homie ordered an appetizer and received it after he had already finished his main meal because they forgot to put the order in and he had to remind them. My other friend and I ordered a steak with French fries. The stake was cooked to a good temperature but was extremely unseasoned and we had to bathe it in A1 sauce. My crinkle cut fries looked and tasted like frozen public school fries. The rest of my friends seemed to enjoy their burgers and/or sushi. The men’s restroom had tv’s in there which was nice but the girls in my group said theirs did not. I guess they don’t want women to be entertained which ain’t cool. We went on a Wednesday so we didn’t wait long for a table but I’m sure it gets busy on the weekends. Overall this restaurant is just okay. If I ever eat here again in the future it’s because I was invited not because I chose it.

This place was absolutely wonderful! I took my fiance here for his birthday. Our server, Lewis, was incredible, knowledgeable and fun! He helped us pick our signature cocktails and two appetizers ( we got the wings and fried pickles) both of which came out absolutely perfect and paired perfectly with housemaid sauces! For our entrees my fiance got quesadillas and the dragon roll I got the tuna poke bowl and the rainbow roll and then we got the eel roll to share. Everything was excellent! The portions are huge and kept well as leftovers! The atmosphere was cozy and contemporary! The manager’s name was Angel and she was also great! We had such a good time that we had to compliment the food and our server before we left and ended up getting into 5 minute conversation lol. Overall this place is a 10 out of 10 and we have been recommending it to all of my friends and family for the upcoming Valentine’s Day holiday!

We went on a Thursday night. There were maybe 3 tables taken when we arrived. You could seat yourself. We had fast, friendly service. The food was actually really good. We had the patty melt, fried fish, chicken tacos, and child quesadilla with a side of fries. The amount of food for the money was good also.
The only reason I didn’t give all 5 stars is that we did have to wait a bit for our server to come back around for refills. We will definitely be returning.

We’ve been regulars at Drake’s Come Play in Clarksville, TN since they opened, and they never disappoint! We were there most recently on May 8th, 2025, to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and the experience was outstanding as always. The entire staff made us feel so welcome and really went above and beyond to make the occasion special.
A big shout out to Emmett, the managing partner, who not only checked in with us throughout the evening but was kind enough to slice and serve the birthday cake for our whole party—such a thoughtful gesture that made the night even more memorable. Aidan, one of the managers, was fantastic and attentive as always, and Skyla, our bartender, was incredible—friendly, efficient, and on top of every detail.
Also want to recognize Chas, the marketing partner, who’s always a pleasure to talk to and brings so much positivity to the place. Drake’s continues to be our go-to spot thanks to their amazing team and welcoming atmosphere. Can’t wait for our next visit!
