Super impressed by the brunch we had at Drago’s Kitchen! This spot opened about six months ago and is already experiencing wait times on the weekends. Chef Drago makes almost everything in-house, and you can taste the quality in all of his cooking. It’s not often you see so much creativity shine through on the menu for a breakfast/lunch eatery, but options like breakfast corn dogs, a burger topped with in-house smoked roast beef, and homemade cheddar biscuits really caught our eye. The biscuits and gravy were some of the best we’ve had in CT, and the corned beef hash was real, not from a can! Fresh Italian meats and cheeses on the salad I had too, and they even had fall specials for lattes. It was very clean and inviting inside, with kind and attentive staff. Truly a gem in Granby!

Incredible. The food was amazing, but the service was better than any I have ever had when dining with a difficult child. We have a one year old that started acting up almost immediately, and they took us to a quiet part of the restaurant, brought over a bag of toys for her and she had the time of her life. The food was as good as it gets- home made corned beef hash, bread pudding French toast, incredible pancakes- but they were so kind to my daughter it really transcends any dining experience I ever had. Thank you so much.

2nd visit as good as the first. You can’t beat breakfast at Drago’s. Everything is cooked fresh and perfectly. The prices are reasonable especially considering the quality of the food. We had a delightful conversation with the owner who is clearly passionate about his craft. I need to go back to try lunch there.

I recently had lunch here and found their classic American sandwiches to be good, with the chef not being afraid of adding some spice to the dishes. My Reuben had something extra spicy in the sauce which I really enjoyed (but some might not) and the corn beef itself was outstanding. I found the coleslaw to be slightly on the salty side (and I like salt) but pretty good. The homemade chips were awesome. My wife had the roast beef sandwich with the French dip and it was also quite good. Service was excellent. The space was clean, fresh and pleasant. I will return to try breakfast!

A new restaurant and what a delight. We were seated immediately. Our server was friendly and happy. Husband ordered an omelet w/spinach, mushroom and tomatoes, sour dough bread and potatoes that come with the meal. I had the “Old School Benny” which was in a bowl! Refreshing! (A different presentation from other restaurants. The poached eggs were done to perfection the hollandaise sauce excellent. This reviewer has no complaints. We will be back for lunch to hopefully enjoy another great meal.

Great new family owned spot in town. A must try. The place is newly renovated with a nice cozy feel to it. The staff is very friendly and the menu has something for everyone. Best part of all (for me) is that they have HALAL chicken, which makes the menu selection even broader for those with the same dietary restriction. Lots of gluten free options as well. Also, everything is made fresh with fresh ingredients. Not the typical store bought cooked and plated type food.
Highly recommend trying this place for dine or take out.

We used Drago’s Kitchen to cater my daughter’s birthday party brunch and had a great experience. They were easy to work with and the pricing was clear and transparent. Multiple guests commented on how delicious the food was and how generous the portions were. Everything went smoothly from start to finish.

We ordered 2 of the egg sandwiches on english muffins, couple sides of home fries and a blueberry muffin. Not ordering again. We got some apple muffin for one, not blueberry. But the sandwiches were very “meh” at best. If you eat a piece of the bacon alone, you can taste how old the grease is. There is nothing fresh tasting about this sandwich. And the home fries were huge pieces like someone didnt feel like chopping more. I’ll try somewhere else next time.

This place is a hidden gem. Went for breakfast two days in a row. Service is excellent, the space inside is cozy, and the food is fantastic. The corned beef is on another level. And every dish is priced so well. Would absolutely come back again if I was in the area.
