First time here and it was a bust on all levels. The bites were too large to eat and fell apart with each attempt at picking them up. There was no soy sauce dish provided for dipping and when I asked for one, received a small bowl instead. No hot tea on the menu should have been our first clue. This is not the place if you are a sushi snob like us. And to top it off the service was disappointing.

Dragon Sushi, one of the best places in town for a wonderful experience. Great atmosphere to visit with family or friends. They also have patio seating. When I got there it felt like stepping into a new and wonderful world. Awesome customer service, super attentive, fast and kind! I’m not from Albuquerque, but every time I’m in town, I crave this place. I’ve been to many high end sushi restaurants and experienced multiple omakase meals, yet there’s something special about this spot. It’s affordable, delicious, and always satisfying. Highly recommend it to any sushi lover whether you’re local or just visiting. Make sure to hit up their new location near the mall.

Half price sushi every day feels like a treat, not a gamble. The rolls were fresh and delicious. The dragon roll stole the show, with the super california and shrimp tempura close behind. Service was kind, if a little light, but the cheerful atmosphere made it an easy place to enjoy a great meal.

The food was good but we did not have a great experience here. We had 4 people in our group and I understand that we will have to wait longer to get a bigger table. However, some people who came after us even got the food before us, finished the food and paid while we were sitting there an hour later with only 4 miso soups and a dish of appetizer. As we finished, the staff who cleaned our table accidentally knocked over and spilled the soy sauce on me without saying a word of apology. Love the food and the portion was very generous but probably won’t come back.

Such a fun experience. Sushi was great. Was a little hard communicating with our waiter but all the stuff was very helpful and made sure we got everything we needed. Can’t beat the prices for excellent shushi.

Great First Experience, But Sad to See It for Sale
I decided to try Dragon Sushi for the first time, and I have to say, I was impressed! I ordered the Philadelphia Roll and Sex on the Beach Roll, and both were delicious. The Philadelphia Roll had that perfect creamy texture from the cream cheese, paired with fresh fish and a nice bite from the rice. The Sex on the Beach Roll was packed with flavor—crispy toppings, a drizzle of sweet eel sauce, and a little crunch that made every bite satisfying.
The presentation was beautiful, the portions were generous, and the atmosphere was fun and inviting. I could tell this place had a loyal following, and now I understand why.
But as I was enjoying my meal, I noticed a “For Sale” sign, which was disappointing to see. It’s sad to think that such a great sushi spot might not be here for much longer. As a first-time customer, I was just getting to know the place, and I wish I had found it sooner.
If you haven’t been, I definitely recommend stopping by while you still can! Hopefully, whatever happens next keeps the spirit of Dragon Sushi alive.

I’ve been coming here for a while now, and each time it has been amazing. The atmosphere is quite decorative (anime themed/ traditional). The food is always consistent and tastes great, it will always hit the spot. Its affordable too so I promise you’ll be happy and full here ✨️

I really like going to Dragon Sushi when I’m craving a quick bite of sushi. The inside of the restaurant is nicely decorated and filled with Japanese/Asian culture.
As far as customer service goes, I have been given the wrong rolls sometimes, but they have always been more than happy to double check the roll and my order sheet, and replace as necessary. They’ve even let me keep the rolls I did not order, which was a nice thing to do. Overall, it is a nice atmosphere, good sushi, and great customer service experience.

The sashimi had a stellar performance and the rolls were very good the cuts of sashimi were generous. Took a while to seat us about 25 mins and service was decent for the amount of people in the restaurant. Overall the price and quality was a solid 9 for the food and and a 7 for the service. I will go back when not so busy and give another assessment
