I had the broccoli and chicken lunch that included fried rice and egg drop soup and a spring roll. Everything was hot and delicious and the chicken was tender and juicy. Service was polite and fine with me. Excellent value and experience. I will return.

Wow. Perfection. I ordered the Mongolian chicken and it hit. the. spot.
Deliciously sweet, spicy and savory. Lots of onions, just how I like it. Generous portion, enough for two.
So good that I took the time to write this review while I’m still working on my meal.
I see a lot of negative reviews so I wanted to make sure I get my opinion on here.
Service was good, food came out within 5 mins. Pretty bad ambience though, and terrible lighting.
But the food more than makes up for it.

We’ve tried all of the vegan/vegetarian dishes in our family’s many dine in visits, and all have been excellent! General Tso’s Tofu, salt and pepper tofu, veggie delight, ma po tofu, egg drop soup (not vegan but vegetarian), tofu vegetable soup, egg rolls, and more. Service was prompt and friendly. Our hot tea pot was kept refilled whenever it was close to empty. Dragon River is now on our regular rotation when we eat out. Highly recommended!

We dined-in having the salt and pepper pork ribs, cabbage and jalapenos, honey glazed pork and chicken chao mian. The pork ribs fell off the bone tender, were lightly dusted with seasoned flour and tasted amazing. The spice level of the jalapeno was intense but the cilantro stem accent to the cabbage rounded the dish. The noodle in the chao mian has a nice bite and the juicy tender chicken was enjoyable without excessive onion. The honey glazed pork was perhaps cut too thin or didn’t balance well to the ratio of batter. Still plenty of flavor and an enjoyable addition to our meal. The gracious owner was pleasant and friendly. Thank you for a wonderful meal!

Such a hidden gem this place is! So many options and most importantly the great service and the welcoming atmosphere! The lovely lady who helped us is our highlight of the place. Salt and pepper tofu should definitely be tried, gong bao beef was also good. Highly recommended!

Menu items have vague descriptions. Lady was rude and snapped at me when asking what things were. Lots of things I haven’t seen before. Ultimately I gave up and ordered the Mongolian beef. It took 30 minutes to get the food and she brought me Mongolian chicken instead. Was not waiting another half an hour for food so I sent it back and canceled my order. Ordered best chopsticks instead.

I am convinced they only had one woman working when I went but she was ON IT. Service was a bit slow at first, but it was fine. Fried rice & orange chicken were EXCELLENT. Bao zi and pot stickers were also really good. The waitress literally ran after a patron to give her her jacket she forgot. Took a minute to get our orders taken, but food came out pretty quickly after.

I write a lot of positive reviews on Google, but HOLY COW this place deserves five stars.
I have never ordered honey glazed chicken that was actually crispy until Dragon River. And it was take out! Crispy take out! The food just tastes home cooked in the best possible way.
I’ve only had two things off the menu (honey glazed chicken and chow mein), but I know I need to come back and try more because this place knocks it out of the park. Please give them your business!!
Update: Go for the spicy eggplant. Trust me!

This place is really good at making food look good. Not really good about tasting good. The place is take out only but that’s fine. Our food was extremely hot when we got it and that led to high hopes. The crab wontons looked really good but had hardly any filling. The flavor was extremely good tho. The fortune cookies were stale. The orange chicken was really tough and hard to eat as well as had spicy chili peppers with no warning, heads up if you don’t love those the chicken chow mein was insanely salty… the rice is good tho. Would recommend getting sauce for it cuz it’s not salted.
